Vida Mannings is an accomplished transportation professional whose progressive leadership capability have brought forth system changes that have positively impacted millions of people. Energetic relationship-building and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to influence decision-makers, have made her a central player in the myriad of transitions and reforms in public transit for more than 30 years.  Currently, she serves as the Director of Special Projects in the CEO’s Office at the Southern California Regional Rail Authority.  In this role, Vida leads initiatives for the commuter rail agency that is focused on strengthening relationships with private sector partners headquartered in the Authority’s six-county service area.
