My name is Aretha Fung-A-Wing, I was born in Paramaribo, Suriname but raised in South Florida. I have an Associates degree in Business Administration from Broward College. I am currently a junior at Florida International University and I am pursing a Bachelors in Construction Management. I am very much interested in project development and the inner workings of planning the construction of any structure, I'd like to be apart of the business aspect of the industry. My dream is to build an NFL stadium and to become the first African American woman to own a professional football team and stadium in the National Football League. I am a firm believer in "speaking it into existence," as my faith in God is my guiding force and in everything I do. I would love to be apart of the greater good and give back to my community by creating jobs, educating our youth, and so much more. Raynelle Grace is President and CEO of Abex Systems, a technology consulting firm with federal government contracts. Abex Systems merges Raynelle’s engineering background with her business savvy to help large corporations and government clients achieve cost savings and process efficiencies, often via information technology automation. On one project, she helped a client save over $13M in one year by streamlining their technology purchases. Through Abex,  Raynelle also helps other small businesses learn how to pursue government contracts. Raynelle is also Managing Director of Rdeans Realty. Her firm provides real estate sales and property management services. Linda Porter is currently the Florida Diversity Manager for Skanska USA Building Inc. She received a B.S. degree in Interior Design from The Florida State University and has over 23 years of experience in the industry (10 of those have been with Skanska).  She brings field knowledge along with an energetic personality. Currently serving on the Hillsborough County (CAC) Community Advisory Committee and recently selected by the Tampa Chamber for the Leadership Tampa Class of 2014, Linda is a champion for her community.    Linda is responsible for implementation, promotion, management, coordination and evaluation of marketing and DBE outreach efforts in the Florida Region.  She also maintains a database of approved DBE companies for project utilization. I am currently the Director for Social Security Administrationss (SSA) Division of Eastern Regional Contracts. I have almost 30 years working for the Federal Government. I started my Federal career as a Student Engineer working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington WV District, Construction Division. One of the requirements at the University of Cincinnati, was for Engineering and Construction Management students to participate in the co-op program were we worked alternating quarters with a company in a field related to our major. After graduating in the mid 1980s with my Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, I accepted a permanent position with the Huntington District where I was assigned as an Engineer/Inspector at the Yatesville Lake, KY dam site where we were building a new earth-filled dam and appurtenant bridges and roads.
