The gospel is good news for a listening world. We're compelled to share this news that has changed everything, but how we share matters. Because no matter how powerful or beautiful a song is, if it's played from the wrong platform, it's only noise.

We long for you to discover and develop your spiritual gifts. Steve's informative talk introduces and explains several kinds of gifts. "God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another."

God graciously distributes gifts to all of us & achieves His purposes through us. Our gifts are necessary; none are insignificant. We're all equipped for works of service. When we serve with our gifts, we're part of extending God's hope to the world.

We're examining the clues of our lives, doing the creative best we can to give our lives to serve God. Our gifts are for the common good, and are revealed as we serve. For the Church to thrive, we must develop and use our spiritual gifts together.

You're God's masterpiece--an original, handd-crafted work of art created with purpose & intention & immeasurable value. Your calling unfolds when you choose to serve; through service we discover the true meaning of our lives as part of God's Kingdom.

We're made in God's image, made to experience God's presence. Jesus stepped into history so we could step into friendship with God & keep in step with the Spirit. Jesus is our end: "For from him and through him and to him are all things" (Rom 11:36).

James 1:5-8 Sometimes we're lost in life because we're paralyzed by indecision. In looking for direction, our prayer is: "God, show me what to do; I'll do whatever you show me." Seek God seriously, listen to wise counsel, do the next right thing you know to do.

We're far more exhausted than God ever meant for us to be. God says there's only one way to experience rest and peace in our souls: "Be still and know that I am God." When we cease working and quiet our souls, we can actually see God at work.

You can have a plan perfectly set out, but life rarely goes according to plan, which feels like failure. Just because life doesn't go according to your plan, doesn't mean God doesn't have a plan. Anything intended for harm, God can use for good.

In a socially connected world, we increasingly feel so alone. We can be connected in ways we never could before- but even though we have more information about people, we have less intimacy with people. Technology has revolutionized relationships; but Jesus has redeemed relationships, and God reconnects what's disconnected.

When we're struggling with any kind of suffering, it's tempting to think our suffering is meaningless pain. But Paul tells us in Romans 5:1-5 that suffering is a seed planted in our souls that produces perseverance, character, and hope--a hope from God that doesn't ever disappoint us.

Why is it that true happiness is so elusive? How is it that we live such full lives and yet often feel so unfulfilled? We get lost because we wither took bad directions, had no directions or ignored good directions. When it comes to happiness and experience a deep fulfillment in life could it be we have taken some bad directions that have left us feeling lost and feeling unfulfilled.

Easter is a big deal because everything hinges on this moment: Christ died, but Christ rose from the dead and is coming again. Because of Christ's resurrection, God trades your old life for a brand new life. You're one bold move away from a radically different life-and it's never too late to make the move.

Palm Sunday is a watershed moment; Jesus enters Jerusalem and it seems like the people and Jesus are saying the same thing, but five days later they end up in different places. How can these people call him King on Sunday and crucify him as a criminal on Friday?
