This is our honest confession: "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief." As we confess our belief and ask God to help out unbelief, our eyes are opened and we are made alive.

In the Transfiguration we're caught up in a moment intended to make the identity of Jesus utterly clear. There's no other way to see the glory of God more clearly than by looking at Jesus.

The center of Christianity is this one event: the man who claimed to be God said he had to suffer and die. We have to take a close look at Jesus' death if we're going to answer Jesus' crucial question "Who do you say I am?"

Jesus asks one crucial question where our answer determines how we live: "Who do you say I am?" We've heard many other answers, but let's take one of those options off the table.

We're all searching for the one thing to truly satisfy our deepest desires-- and only Jesus can. He speaks gently to us: "When you come to me, I am more than enough for you; come and be satisfied in the depths of your soul."

When we find ourselves in desert places, we find that Jesus is there too. When we meet Jesus in the desert places, his first response is compassion, meeting us in the way we need most.

In a loud and busy world, sometimes it seems as if God isn't speaking, moving or healing. This week we explore the very heart of a loving God who gently and tenderly meets us in our pain, breaks through our spiritual deafness, and heals us with his loving touch.

Even with all of our sophistication, education, resources and technology we find ourselves confronted with that which we cannot fix or put right. What do you do, not just when you don't know what to do, but when there is nothing you can do?
