Happy Friday, moviegoers! This week on YaketyCAST, our trio goes over EVERYTHING that was announced at CinemaCon! Well, not EVERYTHING. They were recording when Disney was doing their presentation. Anyway...they cover AMAZON, UNIVERSAL, and PARAMOUNT's announcements as well as some other fun info. John finished THE EVIL WITHIN 2. What was his final verdict? Movie trailers for FOCKER IN LAW, STREET FIGHTER, and GODZILLA MINUS ZERO dropped this week and they've got reviews for those as well! Plus a TON of TV talk, their favorite moments from the first weekend of Coachella, and much more!

The Beast Below first aired 16 years and a few days ago! If you listen closely in this episode, you can hear John and Taylor recount how old they were when this episode first aired. It's a teeny bit traumatic. However, it's not as traumatic as zapping the brain of a space whale so that it keeps carrying your entire country (but metal!) around on its back while you all choose to periodically learn the horrible truth and then choose to forget it all. That's really traumatic!

The boys are back with a jam packed episode of YAKETYCAST! If you love movie trailers, this week is YOUR WEEK. Backrooms, Masters of the Universe, Lee Cronin's The Mummy, and much more. John is battling his way through THE EVIL WITHIN 2 and Ernesto is still loving Indian Jones & The Great Circle! In our new RETRO REVIEW segment our hosts talk about CLERKS 2 and PREDATOR 2. All this plus The Boys, Paradise, Daredevil, and the Snapple Lady!

The YAK is BACK! This week our trio all saw PROJECT HAIL MARY! Did they like it? Did they love it? Or did they...neither of those things? John finished both South Park The STICK OF TRUTH and THE FRACTURED BUT WHOLE and Ernesto started playing INDIANA JONES AND THE GREAT CIRCLE. They also discuss the Supergirl trailer, the first three episodes of DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Season 2, and Kanye West's "BULLY".

Back to watching some proper Doctor Who and it feels so good! It's almost like...we're young again! And wow, doesn't Tish Jones look familiar? Yes, friend of the show Mike Solko set us up to watch this episode post-Gally and we didn't realize until now that it was all a Gugu Mbatha-Raw connection! Well, how did we like getting back to some Modern Who and seeing more Mark Gatiss than we could ever really want? You've got to listen to find out!

The fine folks of YaketyCAST are BACK WITH A VENGEANCE. Their vengeance? Giving you an insane amount of topics they have opinions on! They Crimson Desert and the Blackout mode of Warzone for your video gaming pleasure. Movies? Well the ACADEMY AWARDS happened and they give their thoughts on the show and the winners. MOVIE TRAILERS? Well Spider-Man, Dune, and The Wild Nine all released some this week. For TV they discuss the Firefly cartoon, the failed Buffy reboot, and the Darth Maul animated show for Disney+! They discuss the insane lineup for the Aftershock music festival as well. Plus John's HOPPERS review, Ernesto's grandmother's journal entries, a ChariZard Cheeto, and much more!

Well, folks, we made it to the end of the war. And, frankly, we're kinda glad it's over. It's not great. We're not even sure it's good. As always, though, we find the bits we did like, try to make sense of the parts we didn't, and (if nothing else) celebrate the fact that we're getting back to some actual Doctor Who for our next episode!

It certainly has been a minute, but the YAK is BACK once again! After the gang catches up they discuss video games, movies, tv, and music! They've got a TON of movie reviews that include Send Help, Scream 7, and Cold Storage. They talk about the revival of SCRUBS, as well as the show His & Hers. Did they enjoy the newest release from The Gorillaz? They're talking a bunch of music in this week's episode as well! All this and so much more!

Well, we're into the penultimate episode of The War Between the Land and the Sea and, really, we're experiencing a bit of an uneven episode. The drama is there, things feel a little hopeless, so let's give the Sea Devils even more superpowers, give Barclay and Salt some really awkward dialogue, and let's make sure Kate Stewart never rests again. We are really hoping that they're able to stick the landing with the final episode, but we'll see!

March is Time Traveler Awareness Month and we swear that wasn't already in mind when we decided to finally review the copy of The Treacherous Time Machine that Seb acquired last year. Written by Maj. Donald G Carpenter (under the fantastic pseudonym Merlin Mesmer Merlino), the book comes across as one part fan-fiction, one part pilot for a 60s era family comedy. It's interesting, to say the least! And we also go into why Major Carpenter has a set at the table of the history of UFOlogy.

We're back at it after Gallifrey One (and some con crud for Taylor), reviewing episode three of The War Between the Land and the Sea! SPOILER ALERT!! There are some things that happen in this episode that you might not want to know about before actually watching it (or maybe you do, we don't judge). We're also assuming you've watched TWBTLATS if you're listening to this. Because we know it's not just for our handsome radio voices. Anyway! You've been warned!

Overall, we're still enjoying this series, but there were some holes and plot devices this time that really left us scratching our heads. New Year! New Season! New weird topics! We start 2026 by looking at the history (and mysteries) surrounding an unusual house built in the 1940s in Santa Cruz, California. We look into the stories surrounding Kenneth Kitchen who built this structure (which you can drive by and see even today!) and the legends that quickly built up around this incredible home.

Well, friends, we have reached our final episode of 2025 and the final installment of the Prisoners of Time comic book adventure! This time we have a fairly flimsy 9th Doctor story that really only seems there to reveal who our villain is. Then we join Ten and Martha in Los Angeles and places John has actually been! And instead of learning if the Frogmen the 11th Doctor is dealing with are the same ones from the Loveland, Ohio sightings, we start down an increasingly bonkers adventure in the last two stories! It's a wild ride and we are here for it!! Also, thanks for listening to us in 2025. We're excited to pull our makeshift TARDIS out of mothballs in early 2026 to jump forward to when Disney surely will air The War Between the Land and the Sea so we can review it for you in January!

This time we continue on with Prisoners of Time! Chapters 5 through 8 in which we wonder many things! We wonder why the 5th Doctor appears to be 12 years old. We wonder where this bad ass 6th Doctor has been all our lives. We wonder if it's okay to go absolutely swoon city over a cartoon Ace. And we wonder why McDonalds hasn't brought back Mac Tonight.
