Max and Vince wanted to start off by thanking all the listeners (and viewers) of the podcast during the 2021 season. LAFC may have come up short in its pursuit of a playoff spot but it's been awesome doing this show for all of you this season and meeting many of you at matches, tailgates, away trips, or around Los Angeles. We're not totally finished for 2021 but we'll be taking a few weeks off. Then we'll do our best to bring you any offseason news and reactions as they happen. Now to the match. LAFC was always going to be up against it, needing a win and some help. They conceded the first goal to Jonathan Lewis and after a huge miss from the normally reliable Chicho Arango, things unraveled from there. Max and Vince break down what Colorado did to wrestle control of the match from LAFC and how the Black & Gold play on the edge led to the high score. That brings us to the offseason. Here are the facts. LAFC fell short against the Vancouver Whitecaps in a match they needed to win to control their own destiny. The 1-1 draw now puts LAFC's playoff hopes in jeopardy. They need a win on the last day of the season and a few results to go their way. Now to the show. Max and Vince go through the match against Vancouver. Carlos Vela had more than a cameo but the team couldn't find the finishing touch it needed. Is that a good or a bad sign for the match with the Rapids? The guys also go through all the playoff scenarios and give their thoughts on who might start in the final match of the season.

We've got a lot to talk about. But we have to do it quickly because LAFC is back in action on Tuesday. Max and Vince were in the 110 Football studios on Monday to break down LAFC's long road trip... well, after they stopped talking about movies, music, pop culture, and anything else that came to mind. But once they got to the football, they started with the comeback win in Dallas. LAFC was fortunate but the quality of Chicho Arango lifted them in a desperate moment. The #SeasonWithinTheSeason kicked off this past weekend. LAFC did its part with a 3-1 win over San Jose. But the Black & Gold didn't get any help this time around, as it remains four points adrift of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Max and Vince are here to break down the win over San Jose. It was a stellar first half for the Black & Gold. Danny Musovski started the scoring, forming a great partnership with Chicho Arango up top. Despite squandering a few chances, LAFC finished the half up 2-0. LAFC capped a huge week in Los Angeles football history with a derby against the Galaxy on Saturday. The Black & Gold faced an uphill battle as another error led to a goal they shouldn't have conceded. But Bob Bradley's team responded on numerous occasions to peg back their rivals.
