Max & Vince are back with another MVP podcast this week. The guys start with an update on the situation around MLS in regards to COVID-19. Teams and players are still self-isolating and staying safe at home. Max & Vince talk about what might happen if the season restarts in June/July. We're going to rewatch an LAFC in 30' match from a previous season. You can sync up the match on LAFC.com and listen to Max & Vince's commentary or just listen along as they breakdown the action. This week's LAFC Replay is LAFC's 2-0 win over FC Cincinnati from 4/13/19. Mark-Anthony Kaye and Carlos Vela scored the goals, while LAFC's defense kept its third cleansheet in a row. Max & Vince share some memories, breakdown the bigger plays, and talk about how this match played in the grand scheme of things for LAFC's 2019 Supporters' Shield campaign. Like the rest of Los Angeles, Max and Vince are staying safe at home but they're still thinking about the LAFC community. We've got another packed podcast. The guys start by talking about the latest news around MLS. The league has mandated teams refrain from training for another week. With that in mind, Vince spoke with LAFC Head Performance Coach Daniel Guzman about the effects of the layoff on the LAFC players and he shares what the team is doing to stay sharp. Max and. The Max + Vince Podcast returns for the first time since the suspension of the MLS season. Max & Vince are coming to you via Skype and have a podcast with lots of information to help during this uncertain time. The guys start by telling you why they've been silent for a bit and why it was the right call for LAFC to set the tone by sharing important news and updates from local and state governments. A big two weeks ahead for LAFC. The Concacaf Champions League is back! LAFC take on Liga MX giants Cruz Azul on Thursday at Banc of California Stadium. Max and Vince do a full preview of the match. The guys talk Cruz Azul's history and why they've been known for coming up just short as of late. Then we've got the scouting report on which players to watch and who might be out for the visit to LA. After the preview of the match, the guys welcome a special guest. LAFC midfielder Bryce Duke joins the show for the first time. Bryce just made his MLS debut and got another good run against Philadelphia. The guys ask what made him want to be at LAFC and how has he enjoyed life on and off the pitch. We also get a great story of how Bryce started playing soccer and almost quit after age 3. Another chapter in LAFC history was written this past week. The Black & Gold earned a historic result, overturning a two-goal deficit against Liga MX's Club León with a dominant 3-0 win to progress to the Concacaf Champions League quarterfinals. Max and Vince were at the match and they give a breakdown of all the sights and sounds from the evening. It was easily the most electric and loudest the guys have ever seen Banc of California Stadium and the 3252. The winning didn't stop there, LAFC was back at it on Sunday to open the 2020 MLS season with a 1-0 victory over newcomers Inter Miami CF. It was a big test of LAFC's mentality and resolve after a quick turnaround. Carlos Vela scored a world-class winner and the entire squad chipped in to gut out the result. We've got takes from the Inter Miami victory, how important it was in the grand scheme of things, and we look ahead to LAFC's next opponents: Cruz Azul and Philadelphia Union.

LAFC is back. MLS is back. And we're back at the Banc for both. It's a busy week for the Black & Gold. First up, the second leg of the Concacaf Champions League clash with León. Max and Vince preview the match. What can LAFC do in the second leg to overturn the two-goal deficit? The guys have a couple of thoughts and talk about the biggest differences from the first leg to the second. After that, there's no time to waste because the MLS season kicks off on Sunday. LAFC welcome expansion side Inter Miami CF. David Beckham's team made a splash with the signing of Mexico international Rodolfo Pizarro. The guys weren't too sure on Miami a couple of weeks ago but they like the way the team is taking shape. And speaking of big signings, the West is stacked this year. The guys do a quick preview of who they think got better and Max gives his playoff predictions ahead of the new season.

A historic night in León. LAFC took part in its first Concacaf Champions League in Club history. Max and Vince have a break down of the entire trip. From Max's travel from Tijuana to Guanajuato to hanging with all the LAFC Supporters around León, they paint the picture of the first LAFC away days in an international competition. After setting the scene, the guys get into the details of the Max. What went right and what went wrong and how LAFC turns this result into an experience they can use for the return leg on Thursday at Banc of California Stadium.

Bye bye, preseason. It's full speed ahead to Léon. Max and Vince are here to wrap up the end of the preseason and bring you the only preview you need of LAFC's trip to Mexico. We're talking a different type of football this week. Walker welcomes Jennifer Matthews to The Locker Room. You may know Jennifer from SiriusXM talking fantasy football or her work on NFL Network as a sideline reporter or because her family can only be described as NFL royalty. Jennifer chats with Walker about growing up in an NFL family and with four brothers, playing sports, and how she got into broadcasting. Then Walker has to get her advice on his fantasy football team. He just pulled off a big trade, will Jennifer sign off on it and does Walker's team has what it takes to win it all? And finally, the two talk about Jennifer's travels and work away from football including her volunteer work in Congo, Uganda, South Africa, Mexico, and Haiti. Jennifer also describes her work with nonprofit organization Prison Fellowship, helping support families affected by incarceration across the country.
