In Episode 23, Micah sits down with Linda Leary, who founded Fishe® Wear in 2015, in Anchorage, Alaska. Her vision was to create comfortable, functioning clothing for women that fit and are fashionable- allowing for confidence on any adventure, and she has succeeded in doing just that. We get to talk about not only how she started the company, but also the heart behind what she does, and the impact she has been having, empowering to get outside.

Micah got to hang out with Paul Thacker and his fiancé, Erin Ersland. Paul is a Monster energy sponsored athlete and X Games medalist, even while being in a wheelchair. Erin is an engineer and has an online fitness coaching program. Since both of them share a love of fly-fishing, they were two stars of a film we were producing for Fishe wear, called “No Excuses”. That project allowed me to join them on an incredible fly-fishing adventure to Patagonia. We talk about that trip, the challenges of fishing with a trackchair, and how they have both been able to pursue their passions from action sports to fitness.

In this episode, Josiah met up with a really close friend of his, Chris Crary. Chris has been in production most of his life and has done videos for some of the biggest names like Nike, Adidas, JBL, BMW.In this episode they talk about his journey, from his start to where he's at now, running a very successful production studio.

Micah has a round-table discussion with several of the guys from Vortex Optics. We have Mark Boardman, the Brand Experience Manager, Sawyer Briel, who is the Marketing Communications Manager, and Paul Nees, who has been with Vortex from the beginning. On this episode I am joined by the Denham family, when we were able to spend an evening together at the Western Hunt Expo in Salt Lake. I talk with Chris Denham and his son Mark and daughter Courtney. This family is all about the outdoors and entrepreneurship, and we delve into how Western Hunter was started, and how Wilderness Athlete and Outdoorsmans came to be a part of the family as well. With a solid family business history, we can relate with a lot of the things they encountered during growth, and we talk about the benefits of working with family, and explore the three very different, yet very connected businesses.
