"For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you." Psalm 86:5 Do you always look down on yourself or condemn yourself for your past ways of life? If so, you are not alone. Many people do this because they have not been taught that God forgives them. Through Jesus, we can learn that God is forgiving and that we should forgive ourselves. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are forgiven. His blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. We must realize that our past sins no longer define us. Just as God has forgiven us, we need to forgive ourselves. Self-condemnation keeps us from living in the freedom Christ died giving us. It also prevents us from being effective witnesses for Christ. When we focus on our past, we miss out on what God is doing in the present. Instead, we must learn from our mistakes and move forward with God's help. Because the righteousness of God is beyond every effort, you try to put in to ensure that you appear holy before God. The righteo

"For he has made him, who knew no sin, to be sin for us; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Corinthians 5.21. Nothing has hindered humankind's relationship with God more than the sin of consciousness. It is why unbelievers believe their sins are too grievous to be forgiven by God. It's why believers question their stand before God; if they are truly forgiven or affirmed, If they need to show penance for sins before they are forgiven. For some, it's why they will hold back on the gifting of God in their life because somewhere in their minds, they still feel they are not worthy of all that God has done; but this ought not to be so. Many scripture texts affirm the forgiveness God has given us, and you must be abreast of the same. For example, psalms 103:3,12 'Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; As far as the east is from the west, so far has God removed our transgressions from us. Ephesians 4:3 In a world that is often filled with division and conflict, it is refreshing to read a passage like Ephesians 4:3, which speaks about the mind of Unity and peace. This verse reminds us that despite our differences, we can still choose to come together in harmony. It is a timely reminder to put aside our differences and focus on what we have in common. When we do this, we can create a more peaceful world for everyone. The mind of Unity and peace is a mindset focused on the oneness of all things. It is a mindset that is grounded in the belief that peace and Unity are the natural states of things and that all people are innately good. When you have a mind of Unity and peace, you see the oneness of all things and feel a sense of connection to all things. You see the beauty in all things, and you believe that all people have the potential to be good. Colossians 3:14 says, "And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all to

"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and the same judgment." 1 Corinthians 1:10 Unity and peace are two important ingredients in a sandwich for progress among the body of Christ. When there is unity, there will be peace. There is a blessing upon those that follow after peace and try as much as possible to keep the body of Christ (the church) in unity. The bible makes us understand that the meek shall inherit the earth and delight themselves in the abundance of peace (Psalm 37:11). Jesus Christ, throughout His ministry, kept His disciples in unity and bond of peace, and we are also expected to live in peace and unity among brethren. Therefore, in His prayers for the disciples, we saw that He kept them together in peace and unity, and none of them was lost except the son of perdition that the scriptures might be fulfilled ( John 17:12). "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 How often do we go through the motions of our day-to-day lives without really living? We wake up, go to work or school, come home, eat dinner, watch TV and go to bed. Rinse and repeat. It's easy to get stuck in a rut and forget that each day is a gift from God. But what if we changed our perspective and decided to make every day extraordinary? What if we looked at each day as an opportunity to appreciate the goodness of God in our lives and others? Remember, this day is from the LORD, and it should be marvelous in our eyes (Psalm 118:23). When we start each day to live in goodness and enjoy the blessings of God, our ordinary days become extraordinary. We begin to see the beauty in everyday moments and the people around us. God has given us each day as a gift. It is up to us to make the most of it. We can choose to exist day by day, or we can choose to live life to the fullest. "I will be glad and rejoice in your loving kindness, for you have seen my pain. You knew about the distress in my soul." Psalm 31:7. When we take the time to step back and see the beauty in the world around us, it is easy to feel close to God. By taking a moment out of our day to appreciate his creations, we can feel his presence more strongly in our lives. Even if we don't have anything specific to praise him for, simply acknowledging his greatness can be enough to make our day extraordinary. By looking at our day through the lens of gratitude, we can find joy in the simple things and make our ordinary day extraordinary. Therefore, do not let your yesterday's ungrateful mode ruin today's glory. Because someone elsewhere looks to this day to see, unfortunately for them, the chapter of the book of life was closed before midnight yesterday. So, no matter how life treated you yesterday, wake up each day, and be grateful. Remember, it is by the grace of God that makes it possible to wake up. Ephesians 1:3 says, "

Our God! Our God! "Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; may Your glory cover all the earth." Psalm 57:11. In an ever-changing world filled with turmoil, it is comforting to know that our God is not dead but surely alive. While He may not be static or inactive, He is certainly alive and active in the lives of His people. This is evident through the answered prayers, the protection from harm, and the provision of all our needs. We can rest assured that our God is not only alive, but He is also working on our behalf. His mercies are new every morning, and His faithfulness endures to all generations. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever; He does not change like shifting shadows. Our God is not dead but alive; he is the creator of all things and has been for eternity. No one likes our God that saves us from death or destruction. Our God is not a thief but an honest to give us abundant life in Christ Jesus. Our God is a loving father who loves us unconditionally and never gives up on you and me. In Isaiah

"Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and their children after them." Deuteronomy 4:9 One of the most important things you can do in your life is to stay faithful to God. Regardless of your trials and temptations, it's crucial to remember that He is always with you. In Leviticus 22:31, God said, "You are to keep My commandments and practice them. I am the LORD." If you want to live a good life, it's important to obey God's commands. God knows what's best for you, and if you follow His guidance, you can be sure that you'll be blessed. The book of Deuteronomy 4 is a perfect example of how reflection can be used to help individuals grow closer to God. In this passage, Moses reflects on the Israelites' journey through the wilderness and how they overcame many challenges by following God's guidance. But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." Matthew 5:44 Do you show love to all everyone around you? Is your heart filled with the Love of Christ? According to Romans 13 8, the answer should be a resounding yes! As believers, we are to "owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law." We are called to love unconditionally, which means showing compassion and kindness to everyone, even those who may not deserve it. It can be difficult to do this, but remember that Christ loved His enemies. If He can do it, so can we! A loving heart is a golden heart before God because God Himself is called love; remember, we loved because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). When we have the mind of love, we have the mind of Christ. The mind of Christ is one of love. With that in mind, we can see things from Christ's perspective and make decisions based on love rather than fear or selfishness. This way of thinking leads us to see others as God does -

"And be ye kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32 The mind of love is a state of being in which one can experience the fullness of love. This state is characterized by a deep sense of connection with others, a willingness to give and receive love, and a capacity for compassion and empathy. Those who are in the mind of love can see the beauty in all things and find joy in the simplest things. They can also weather the storms of life with grace and dignity. Do you know anyone in this state of mind? If not, then I know who does; his name is Jesus. He was full of love before he came from heaven to earth to show us the way; when he paid our debt on the cross, he still loved even when he transits from earth to heaven. Brethren, no love can be greater than laying your life for the sin of someone who perhaps doesn't even care about you. This is the mind of love in Jesus Christ that made Him give His life for the sins of humankind. Th

"Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you." Proverbs 4:25 The past is behind us. It can never be changed. We can learn from it and move forward, but it will never be the same. Our future is what's important. There's always hope for a better tomorrow as long as we're alive. Salvation is not in our past. Our past may have contributed to who we are today, but salvation is in our future. We can always change for the better. We can make choices that will lead us down a better path. As long as we're alive, we have the opportunity to be redeemed and start anew. The Book of Genesis tells the story of Joseph, who was sold into slavery by his brothers and ended up in Egypt. There, he rose to a position of power and was able to help his family during a time of famine. However, when Joseph had his first son, he named him Manasseh saying, "For God has made me forget all my toil and all my father's house." (Genesis 41:51)." The name "Manasseh" comes from the Hebrew word for "forgetfulness." Jose

Likewise, in our lives, we may remember things that happened in our past, such as the death of a loved one or failure in the past. But they can make us anxious and unproductive if we're not careful. Our negative emotions cannot help us make the right decisions, nor can they help us find solutions. However, if you let faith in God lead you, it will be easier for you to make good choices because power belongs to God alone. So, here's my advice: trust God more, Pray, and work for a better future. Romans 12:2 Paul's letter to the Romans is one of Scripture's most important theological works. In it, he sets forth the case for Christianity as God's universal plan of salvation. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." When we know how much Jesus loves us, we don't have to be afraid of anything. This freedom in the journey of life is only possible through Jesus Christ. This freedom that Jesus Christ died for is something that we could never achieve on our own. Only through Him are we set free from the chains of sin and death. The journey of life is so much better with Him by our side. He gives us hope and strength to face everything that comes our way. And it's the quality of our mind that determines which side wins. Without our minds, we have no worth, whereas a carnal mind can never please God. So what are those worldly desires that make your reasons unpleasing to God? Are you ready to let go of every form of worldliness in your life? Those things like greed, pride, lust, anger, envy, gluttony, and sloth. These things keep us from living in obedience to God's Word. Carnal mindset products are the things that prevent us from having a clear mind that can help us focus on God. If we want a quality mind that pleases God, then we need to be intentional about filling it with His Word and Spirit. We need to set our minds on things above, not on things of this world.
