And the countdown rolls on... On today's podcast we catch up on the countdown as it reaches No. 69. The latest bowl game news told a lot about the immediate future of the college football playoff. We talk about what these announcements mean going forward. We also catch up on the countdown, talking about No. 88 FIU, No. 84 FAU, No. 87 Georgia Tech, and No. 83 Louisville. 

The bowl schedule has been released and there are plenty of interesting notes to go along with it. We talk about: The bowl season starting on a Friday this year with two bowl games on December 20. The playoff semifinals that will take place 16 days before the national championship game. There will be 17 bowl games that take place after the playoff semifinals.  Matt also wraps up some of the bigger topics from the ACC Spring Meetings with a discussion on the transfer portal included. We then look at No. 95 UAB, No. 100 Oregon State, No. 97 Illinois, No. 93 Tulane and No. 103 Tulsa in our college football countdown.
