The college football season starts tonight for FBS teams and we discuss what the season could look like going forward.

The Big Ten and Pac-12 are out, the Big 12 is in with the ACC and SEC. What does this all mean going forward? We break down the decisions that have come out this week and what the landscape for college football might look like over the next nine months.

The ACC has decided to play 10 conference games and one non-conference game - oh and Notre Dame is a member this season. The SEC is playing only 10 conference games, much like the Big Ten and Pac-12.  The Big-12, well we're still waiting on them. As the college football season approaches, we discuss what these decisions mean and what the landscape will look like this season. Also, what does this mean for Group of Five schools like UCF, who could still see some ACC opponents on the schedule.  We may not be closer to knowing if football will be played, but we are starting to see how it will happen if it does. 

The Big Ten made a surprise announcement last week, saying the conference would not play any non-conference games in any of their fall sports. The Pac-12 quickly followed with the same decision. The ACC, Big 12 and SEC are all in a holding pattern on a decision as we all wait to see if there will even be college football in the fall. We discuss all of the latest developments on this week's episode.

The NCAA announced it's name, image and likeness proposal on Wednesday and we look at what it means for college athletes. We discuss the pros and cons and if it's actually enough by the NCAA to address the need. We also look at some news in college football related to the coronavirus pandemic including the MWC canceling in person media days, coaches at Kansas and Kansas State taking pay cuts and more. 

Brant and Matt talk about the latest on the upcoming season. There is very little news on an upcoming season but we try to piece together some thoughts on the various news stories about the sport. It's a quick listen as we keep hoping and wondering if and when college football will be back. 

The highs and lows of information that pertains to the chances of a college football season can be exhausting. So we talk about it. We discuss the meeting of conference commissioners with VP Mike Pence, the Group of Five schools asking for a relaxation of NCAA guidelines and what other sports setting dates means for the future.

We're back and even with no college football certainty on the calendar, we have plenty to talk about. Matt spoke with AFCA executive director Todd Berry and he says that "we will play" this season. We talk about what it could take for that to come true. Meanwhile, Mike Gundy and Dabo Swinney are taking some deserved heat for some comments and we examine those and why it's significant that nobody else came out to echo their thoughts. It's the question every college football fan is asking - will there be a season? We don't know the answer to that but we discuss some of the dates to watch and infuse what coaches have said into the timeline to get an idea of what needs to happen for their to be football this fall. We also discuss what a football season might look - both in schedule and on the field.

There wasn't much to be determined on Bowl Selection Sunday, but we still look back on it and determine if the committee got the easiest choices so far correct. We also look at the other top bowl selections and discuss which ones we are most looking forward to. 

We look back at rivalry weekend and talk about Auburn's win over Alabama. We also discuss Ohio State, LSU, Clemson and Georgia winning easily. We discuss rude coaches and why you should know the score before you lift your leg in a post-TD celebration.

We review Week 13 in this podcast which includes: Ohio State winning another game by double-digits, this time over 8th-ranked Penn State. Oregon slipping at Arizona State which creates a potential interesting pick by the committee between Alabama, Utah, and Oklahoma.
