In fact, he was born to bring peace to the whole world. So, has he? Sometimes it doesn’t seem like it. So is Jesus really worthy of the name ‘Prince of Peace’? • Mighty God

    05/12/2020

HE SHALL BE CALLED Overview At this time of year we’re pretty used to seeing Christmas cards with pictures of a baby in a manger, surrounded by farm animals. It’s unusual but not entirely crazy. But what if the baby lying in that manger was actually God? Sounds crazy, but 700 years before Jesus was born, the prophet Isaiah foretold the arrival of a baby who would also be known as ‘Mighty God’. Jesus himself later pointed to his identity as God. So if the baby in that manger was actually God in human form, how does that change the picture of Christmas? And what difference does it make to us once Christmas is over? Join us as Jason Brown helps us tackle these questions. SERMON SERIES He Shall Be Called
