  • First Wednesday: Make Room

    07/10/2021 Duração: 46min

Can you imagine a life lived where you spend time with God daily, where you stop all the noise and busyness of the day and you daily quiet yourself before Him, listening to what He says? We too must make room! But why make room? First of all, it’s for you, so that you will know Him better and fall in love with Him more deeply. Secondly, it’s for you to share with others, so they may know Him better and fall in love with Him more deeply, too.

  • Week 8: Ears That Hear

    04/10/2021 Duração: 46min

How vulnerable are we as followers of Christ, to receive misinformation? When you think about who you receive information from, is it in line with God’s Word or is it what the world says is true? So often we get tangled up in the buzz of breaking news, receive what someone has said, or accept what we think of ourselves and others. When these things overpower what God says, we can go from a place of power to a place of powerlessness. The good news of the gospel becomes no news when you start listening to people.

  • Week 7: Follow The Leader

    27/09/2021 Duração: 45min

In week 7, we dive into Romans 8 and the story of Jonah. Romans compares the difference between living by the flesh and living by the Spirit; One leads to life while the other leads to death. Our daily lives are a byproduct of what we are allowing to settle and be established in our minds. What are you full of? God’s voice is always present in our lives but are we listening to Him or us? Many of us hear and read God’s Word but don’t follow through with practical application. God doesn’t wish for us to continue down that road because we can miss where He’s leading and miss the blessed life He has planned for us!

  • Week 6: Breaking Free

    20/09/2021 Duração: 51min

Join us as we go into week 6 of the latest series, I’m Alright! This week we explore what it means to break free. Break free from our past lives, past mistakes, past mindsets. One of the most difficult things that any follower of Christ faces is breaking free from the identity we held prior to Christ. In Romans 6, it brings light to an important truth that we must come to grips with. Christ broke the power of sin, so that we can break free. In order for us to live in Christ, we have to let go of what once broke us. There is no freedom in that place. If you’re struggling with your beliefs, who are you believing and what are you believing? Perspective through the rear-view mirror is meant to protect us, not bind us. You are no longer bound to what is behind you. God has a new and better life for you. Believe it and step into it today!

  • Week 5: Your True Identity

    13/09/2021 Duração: 50min

Do you believe what God’s word says about you or do you believe what you feel and see about yourself? This week we continue in the book of Romans and talk about Bartimaeus. He was a blind beggar, who believed in the healing power of Jesus. The crowd tried to keep him quiet and didn’t believe he was worthy of calling out to Jesus. They identified him by his disparity, his lifestyle, and outward appearance. What they failed to realize was Jesus saw his heart, which led Him to ask what he wanted. In Romans 5, we learn that we are made new, reconciled, justified, and free by the act of Jesus. Consider this in V.14, “Adam brought destruction, Christ brought salvation.” Our lives can be defined by the mistakes and negative mindsets we have about ourselves or it can be defined by God’s unfailing love for His children (that’s you!). Like Bartimaeus, refuse to let anyone quiet the call out to God and do not be swayed to remain silent. When you have confidence that you’re His child, you will be bold and ask big a

  • Week 4: A New Line of Credit

    06/09/2021 Duração: 42min

We continue with our latest series, “I’m Alright.” Where are we putting our confidence? If it’s in things, people, or pursuits…these will never sustain you. The only thing that matters is what God has done. This week we see that in Abraham’s story. He was once a pagan worshipper and sought to please a god with things and right actions. Jesus was clear when He told Abraham leave the territory he was so accustomed to. He was telling Abraham leave your comfort zone…leave anything and everything you’ve come to rely on. Abraham believed beyond his qualifications. He decided to embrace God’s direction and let go of his own fears and insecurities. Two points we would like to leave with you as we enter a new week: 1. You don’t have to feel right to be right with God. 2. We become righteous before God before we can ever do anything right for him.

  • Week 3: Just As If I'd Never Done It

    30/08/2021 Duração: 43min

“You don’t owe God anything because He has given everything for you.” Do you consider all that you strive for, do, or plan, in order to please God? To justify your salvation or to remove the moment you dropped the ball? Nothing you have done or will do will ever separate you from God’s love. His love is constant and permanent. We see this as we continue in the book of Romans in our latest series, “I’m Alright!” Separate from Christ, we all live with a drive to do more to feel right about ourselves. The problem with this approach is it is never enough. God doesn’t see us through the lens we tend to. He sees past our shortcomings and calls us his sons and daughters. Today, we encourage you to open your heart and allow God to speak into your life and receive His abundant love!

  • Week 2: Turn Around

    23/08/2021 Duração: 49min

Welcome to week two of our latest series, “I’m Alright!” This weekend we invite you to open your hearts as He reveals Himself to us from His word on the topic of Turn Around! We continue to dive into the book of Romans, a letter written by Paul. In chapter two of Romans, Paul is addressing a serious dilemma. The church body was preoccupied with passing judgment for the very things they themselves were doing! Unfortunately, these people had a misunderstanding of God’s grace towards them. With a true understanding of His grace, it leads us to a life full of love, not sinful actions. This doesn’t mean we won’t make mistakes, but we can acknowledge the error, and out of love for Christ…we can turn around! Zacchaeus shows us that opening your heart to God creates an opportunity for repentance. Jesus didn’t see his “job” or “sin,” He saw Zacchaeus as a son of Abraham, a child of God, and someone who was once lost. The tax collector took the words of Jesus into his heart and allowed it to change him from the i

  • Week 1: Called To Belong

    16/08/2021 Duração: 44min

Welcome to our new series, “I’m Alright.” We are going to be diving into the book of Romans. At the time this letter was written, Rome was heavily influenced by Greek mythology and idol worship. Jews were being banned from Rome because they refused to partake and acknowledge Emperor Claudius as god and Gentiles and Jews were now in the church. This brought about discontent because some believed in Old Testament law, and created division between who belonged and who didn’t. At times, we can create division in our own lives…seeking answers in horoscopes or so called mystical things but deter from God’s word. He has already declared us righteous and holy and guess what? This includes the unbeliever. As we move through this new series, we will see that God hasn’t asked us to be perfect, or to bring the finest gifts to the alter. He simply has told us to follow Him, love Him, and believe! Paul stated in Romans 1:7, “all loved by God and called to be His holy people.” This applies today, to you! You belong.

  • The Way of Wisdom | Mending Fences (Week 5)

    09/08/2021 Duração: 53min

As we conclude the series, “Mending Fences,” we learn more about God’s wisdom for our lives. From the sluggard, who had it all to the fall of mankind, we see that when we operate in our own strength and desires, our fences are compromised. In Genesis, Adam and Eve forsook God’s wisdom when they sought after their own desires and ate from the tree of knowledge. We learn that they were overwhelmed with shame and tried to hide from God. More importantly, this tells us the enemy will look for ways to convince us that what God says can be waived or altered. If you’d like peace and security within your life, seek God’s wisdom at all costs. When we prioritize other voices, people, or accolades, we are choosing to look away from the wisdom He has gifted us. Proverbs 24:5-6 reminds us that wisdom isn’t found in a place of seclusion. We are not asked to live life alone behind our fences. God wants us to strengthen one another, to build and maintain out of His wisdom and love.

  • Week 4: Just Say No

    02/08/2021 Duração: 45min

What would the sluggards life look like if he said no? No to the thorns, weeds, and overcast of doubt, hurts, or troubles. This week we explore the power of “No.” It is such a short word but carries a strong meaning for many of us. You may be surprised but “no” can keep you within the confounds of God and His will for your life. He doesn’t ask us to agree with every request or task rather He reminds us that setting limits are healthy and prosperous. This doesn’t come with declining others first, in fact, we are to crucify our flesh first, to bring our own things into submission. When we don’t place discipline to our desires or faulty thinking, we are sacrificing the prize. Consider Jesus saying “no” to the enemy, as he continued to tempt him. He was not concerned with hurting his feelings, worried about his opinion rather Jesus knew what His Father wanted for Him and nothing could convince Him otherwise. God does not ask us to enslave ourselves, appease others, or erase boundaries. He wants us to learn fro

  • Week 3: When Fences Become Fortresses

    26/07/2021 Duração: 49min

Do you live behind the walls of offense? It hurts when all you do is hold onto the hurt; God doesn’t want that for our lives. You are deceived if you believe withholding forgiveness benefits you. There is a blessing when we do what the word of God says, and it opens the door of opportunity for blessings and maturity. In Romans 12, we learn that peace is our choice, to grasp, to take hold of. Are you sowing the truth or sowing the things you don’t want? When you find it difficult to forgive, take a moment to reflect on the debt Jesus paid. He knew that we could not repay yet, He laid his life down so we could be free! We have been learning from the sluggard that there is no fruit when we choose to live by worldly standards or rules. True life, the good life is the gift of forgiveness; to give and to receive. Today, as you listen to this message open your hearts to the freedom and let go of those offenses.

  • Week 2: Behind Closed Doors

    19/07/2021 Duração: 50min

We have been learning that the fences we build may need repair but more importantly, do your fences provide peace and safety? Not the worldly concepts of peace and safety but God’s peace that surpasses all understanding. The goal is to live with a confidence that is enveloped in God’s promises. In this message we learned that Israel had a hardened heart and David sought to include God despite turning away. Like David, we can deviate from God’s Word, if we are not careful. We all have an inner life; a life that we live behind closed doors. As God’s children, what we do in our home reflects, what we believe in our heart. Therefore we must guard our home, by taking a stand for it and setting a godly standard!

  • Week 1: My Side of The Fence

    12/07/2021 Duração: 46min

Today we start a new series, “Mending Fences.” Think about this title for one moment. Now consider this weeks sermon title “your side of the fence.” If we are honest with ourselves, how often do we look at our side of the fence? Have there been small breaks occurring? Or, have you been covering them up to postpone repair? As we dive into this series, God teaches us that we can create personal fortresses of comfort (or discomfort) and miss the intimate details He has laid out before us. In doing so, we can opt for what we know and pass the abundant life He has promised. The walls of Jerusalem were breached and brought to ruin not because of their lack of ability, but their rejection of God’s attempts to rectify issues in their hearts. Unfortunately, the unseen things we keep behind our fences do not prevent nor stop consequences. These consequences can reap a harvest of thorns; ruin relationships, bury vision, or deter us from God’s love. It is similar to leaving the fence gate open. Do you close the en

  • Week 7: Discipline In The Soul

    05/07/2021 Duração: 51min

We conclude our latest series, “A Place called Rest.” Rest isn’t a matter of leisurely activities or creating endless plans for the next five years. Our Good Father encourages us to embrace the peace He freely gives and allow Him to lead the way. If you’re spending time focused on the plans of your life, you can miss out on His gift. He calls us to trust in Him, in all of our ways. This requires discipline from us; what you allow in your soul matters! It goes beyond simply rehearsing, but intentionally devoting your thoughts and heart to God’s promises. The biblical stories shared in this sermon are not restricted to “just them” but they are us. Their stories of healing, great faith, and devotion are the very things within you, too! We encourage you to remind yourself daily that you are a son & daughter of God. He loves you and He has provided every good thing, for you. The rest you are and have been seeking is within reach!

  • Week 6: It's Not Your Fight

    28/06/2021 Duração: 41min

As we explore the battle the Israelites took upon themselves, we see that they were placing great faith in their decision making. They focused on their own strength and doing rather than involving God into their pursuits. God is a gentleman, He will fight for you, but He will not fight you. Just as the Israelites did, we can turn to our own methods of attack, and leave God, as a last resort. What happens when we put God first in all things? God’s word tells us that “rest” isn’t a struggle or a difficult task. He freely gives it to all of us, to take hold and follow His lead into green pastures and a peace that surpasses all understanding. No matter where you are today, or at any point in your journey, God’s rest is and will always be readily available.

  • Week 5: Is It Worth It?

    21/06/2021 Duração: 45min

In today’s message, we are diving deeper into understanding God’s promise to give us rest. We explore this through the life of Solomon, a man of great wealth and reign. Often times, as Solomon, we can start out with wanting what God wants. But, if we are not utilizing wisdom to understand God’s direction; we end up grinding for an outcome He has already provided! We have an open invitation to enter into a life of rest (without toil, struggle, busyness, etc) and allow it to work in our souls and daily lives. “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me” - these words are powerful and yet, challenges us to succumb our ways. Join us as we continue in our latest series - “A Place Called Rest.”

  • Week 4: It Is Well

    14/06/2021 Duração: 43min

The journey of life is one filled with unexpected twists and turns that can at times leave us burdened and weary… but it doesn’t have to be that way! In this message we learn how to remain in God’s rest while in the middle of our distress as we look to God and learn to trust in Him.
