Have you found yourself running from uncomfortable circumstances? As we continue in our latest series, we study long David’s mightiest men and David himself. We find that despite their circumstances, they faced their situation head-on. Jesus has done the work; it is complete. He has declared you a new creation with the strength and ability to overcome. If you find yourself ruminating or running from the past, we encourage you to lean in on the One who lives in you. The enemy’s roar may seem loud but God is with you and you can overcome.

Are you against the ropes and have lost focus? When we are out of focus, we lose sight of what’s most important. We strive for temporary success and forget that our God ordained calling leads us to eternal success. If you want to see the goodness of God and walk in your purpose, you must get rid of anything and everything that distracts and detracts you from God. Your focus is your responsibility. Are you seeking God with all your heart? You must call on Him, go to Him in prayer…if it’s been a while, today is your day. Go to Him.

To walk with God requires making a choice on a daily basis, to be in position and posture. Often we think that we own our lives, but we are actually stewards. As we continue in this new series we look into another one of David’s mightiest warriors, a man named Elezar. In the midst of our challenges, we can choose to always be faithful. It takes faithfulness to enjoy the goodness of God in the land of the living and to fulfill your God-given destiny.

Are you ready when God calls you to make a move? God desires more than anything that we have success and accomplish great things, but to do so we must learn to tap into God's might within us and face life's obstacles head on. This takes eliminating doubts, believing what God has said will come to pass and speaking in confidence (Matthew 11:22-24). This week take time to meditate on God’s promises, to you. Surrender your flesh to His will, and allow yourself to step into new seasons of growth, change and fresh beginnings.

God has not only been faithful to see us through and sustain us as a ministry, God is faithful to you! God knows only one of relating to you and I – it’s with faithfulness – and were He not to do this, it would be the equivalent to denying His Name, His power, His nature (He would have to cease being God to do so).

Starting a new year can stir up new ideas, new plans, and new goals. When you think of the things God has placed in your heart, do you step forward with the mentality of “I can”? Unfortunately, there are too many believers today that don't see themselves in this way...we see ourselves as “cannot’s.” Benaiah had real obstacles before him. He really did go up against Moab’s mightiest warriors, he really did go into that lion’s lair, and he really stood up to a mighty Egyptian enemy, but to do so he had to move past his excuses. Let this year be the time you move past challenges and operate in faith. Just as Jesus was raised with God’s supernatural power from the dead, this same power is working in you and will raise you up and strengthen you.

Are you living in the rhythm of love? This means walking in love, without fear, and following the will of our Good Father. In this lesson we look into the lives of Moses, David, Esther, and Daniel give us examples of courageous living. Their stories go beyond showing us an outcome; they show us taking risks, pushing our insecurities aside, gratitude, and faithfulness make way for God to move. In return, our relationship with God grows and our trust deepens.

The story of Christmas invites us to live with an awareness that home is not a house, a shelter, a residence where we come and go. Home is the place where our willingness bows and makes ways for the entrance of God into our hearts so that He can remain with us and we can find life with Him.

When it comes to generosity, for a lot of us our default mode of thinking is I can't! If we are going to walk into God's blessings and change the world, you have to "Reset Your Mindset." In this message from Pastor Joseph Nieves of Transformation Church we look at three mindsets that we can have when it comes to generosity: The Bag Mindset, The Basket Mindset, and The Barn Mindset.

This week we continue learning on the topic of generosity. We have learned that it isn’t a matter of what, how much, or when. Generosity goes beyond circumstantial events and moments; it is a lifestyle. Since starting this ministry, we have witnessed many of you, open your hearts to bless & love others through your generosity. Your time and talents have allowed the ministry to reach many in the community! It's time to be a people that build what's necessary instead of building what's temporary. Don't be a people that build for yourself at the expense of forsaking the Lord.

First Wednesday: Who Am I ? by Church At The Bridge

Do you operate on your own and believe you have nothing? God takes what you believe is nothing and combines it with His provision. This week we continue to learn that if we surrender to partnership with God, He blesses what we have so we can live generously. He teaches us that diligence and consistence, leads the way to be wise shepherds. Wealth is not measured by money, it’s measured by the use of the opportunities that are laid up for you to apply your hands to. When we co-exist with God as partners, we can be confident that the good work God has commissioned us to do will be completed because we are in partnership with God!

This week we continue to dive deeper into the topic of generosity. God has been and is always generous to His children. He shows us that generosity isn’t a feeling, but a lifestyle. We see this in 2 Corinthians, John, and Luke. If we feel challenged by this, we can look at how He would like us to manage generosity in Matthew 14 and Mark 6. God clearly shows us that it isn’t about how we perceive or define generosity. We tend to think it’s based on what we can or cannot do or what we have or do not have. Two important pieces to consider is when God calls you, He has already given provision to do it, and God has entrusted us with the ability to bless others.

We have reached that time of year where “generosity” comes to be in abundance. Maybe you’ve experienced as of late, where you’re at the drive thru and find out the car in front of you already paid. These things feel good, seem good, and are widely welcomed. However, when we take a moment to reflect on what it means…generosity means more than “doing”; it’s a matter of the heart. This week we venture into Luke 12, where a man expresses the need for money. God’s word shows us that we indeed have everything we need and it goes far beyond material. The Kingdom is given freely to us. Without recognizing this, we lose sight of His abundance and focus on what we define as lack. It’s time to cut back and cut out some of the things that have our hands tied up and so full, that we can’t even receive the heart transplant that God is offering us today. As you open your heart to the power of a generous life, you will reap tranquility and abound to be a blessing!

As children of God, do you realize you’ve got it all? You could be walking around focusing on issues or challenges or past hang ups, and not realize that God is at work. As believers, we can get caught up in the void mindset, but forget that His grace is is more than enough. As you listen to this weeks message, we encourage you to sit in His presence and open your heart to the fact that God wants to be good to you. God wants one thing - you and His Grace is the only thing that’s ever enough.

In this message we learn from how the disciples spent their last moments with Jesus and the internal struggles that challenged them. They were in the right place, at the right time, with the right one but they couldn’t perceive it because they had forgotten everything that they had with Jesus.

This week we review the impact of judgment within the body. One of the dangers is we can inadvertently act like we are God, instead of acting like God. As a result, we can create an environment that focuses on sweating the small stuff rather than encouraging and lifting others up. At times, we can have a judgmental attitude and forget the power of God’s plan for others and His heart toward them. Before choosing to exclude someone, consider if they believe wholeheartedly in Jesus. Lastly, we cannot forget that as a body, we are all walking the same journey…together.

Join us this week as we continue in Romans 13. This chapter gives us guidance on how to view and deal with civil authorities. When you think of the current times we are in, is your heart open to God’s direction or your feelings? An important piece to consider is God is the originator of all authority, but He is not initiator of ungodly leadership. He is the supreme and final authority of all creation which also means this very nature is ingrained in people. Believer or not, every person was created in His image and likeness. As you view this week's message, we encourage you to meditate on God’s word, His guidance, and the authority He has placed in your life. He has delegated His authority to mankind for good, but it is up to mankind to do good with it.

In God's kingdom, one + one = one. God's way to completeness and wholeness doesn't happen independently of relationships with His people. So why do many of us resist being in a community with others? In Week 10 of our current series, "I'm Alright!" we examine Romans 12:3-8. Romans 12 reveals that each one of us carries gifts and that we are gifts of God to each other. If we are to enjoy the power of a renewed and transformed life, we must recognize that it is dependent upon us bringing into our relationship with others and each other in the body of Christ.
