Walking In Truth

People can get so fearful when they start thinking about the end times. But what Pastor Johnny wants you to realize today is that if you’re a follower of Jesus, you have nothing to worry about! There will be things that occur on this earth that will be horrible, but if you know Jesus, you’ll be taken to another place beforehand!

As more and more people fall prey to giving in to the world - and its pressures, God wants you to stand out, and stand up - for the important things He’s given you to live out. In today’s teaching, Pastor Johnny expresses the need to take a stand, and to live - what you believe, rather than sinking into the world’s desires.

Wouldn’t it be strange if you were rescued from deep water, but then jumped right back into the raging sea, without any type of floating device? You’d be sure to drown before you know it. Today, Pastor Johnny wants you to see that it’s God’s grace that should push you to want to live a godly life, free from sin.  

Some might say that it’s too hard, not to give in to the pressures around you - that it’s just human nature. But Pastor Johnny wants you to know today that with God’s help, you can overcome these struggles, and even resist them! It takes God working in you, but you can turn away from the evil of the world!

But don't let his threats scare you. Because as Pastor Johnny explains, greater is He who is within you than He who is in this world.

Pastor Johnny urges you, to keep surrendering your life to the feet of Jesus. He alone is trustworthy with your life and its outcomes. Rely upon Him for what you need.

Who or what do you turn to in order to receive the peace and refuge that you seek? Today Pastor Johnny explains to you that looking to the things within the world to offer you lasting peace, will only lead to disappointment. Only a life that is found in the refuge of Jesus, will have everlasting peace.

Often times our egos can get in the way of the fruit that we could be experiencing in our walk with God. Pastor Johnny explains, that when you do everything as unto the Lord, it benefits everyone.

Jesus said, “In this world, you will have trouble.” So when we stand up for the truth and find ourselves being persecuted, remember, it's in the Lord's hands.

The world is full of mud-slinging hypocrites, so how is anyone supposed to stand for righteousness? Pastor Johnny reminds us today, that God's word is always true and right. We may not be perfect and may have made pretty bad mistakes in our past, but Jesus offers us forgiveness.

Death can be terrifying. Many are afraid of what will come once life here on earth ceases. But today, you don’t have to be afraid. You can know where you’ll spend eternity! Pastor Johnny is inviting you into a relationship with Jesus! And not only will beginning this relationship change your life after death – it will change your life RIGHT NOW!

Salvation is not a one-time prayer, and then off you go to live life. Not at all! Pastor Johnny explains today that when you accept Christ, you begin a NEW life. You have Him for eternity – He is working in you to transform you and working through you to bless others. And one day, you’ll be in Heaven with Him FOREVER!
