Walking In Truth

There are a lot of things we are faithful to in this world. Sometimes it’s family, a sports team, can even a pet. Today, Pastor Johnny says God calls us to be faithful to Him by living a life of moral integrity. When you are faithful to God, you are saying that His way is greater and fully trusting Him to guide you.

Many people long to be a leader. You expect popularity and power, ease and blessing. But, as a leader, Pastor Johnny will explain today, you’ll often face opposition, challenges, difficult decisions, and attacks. And your best way to stay resilient is to rely on and trust the Lord. Seek after Him. Find your worth in Him. And Let Him guide you! 

As parents, you’re concerned about many things regarding your kids and their future. But, one thing should be your priority as you seek to guide your kids - that they know, love, and follow Jesus in their life. Today, Pastor Johnny will encourage you to model for your child a walk of faith and challenge them to follow the Lord always.  

When you sin or go through moments of doubt, it can be easy to shy away from God out of shame or discouragement. Today, pastor Johnny will remind you that God longs for you to come to Him and surrender yourself to Him no matter what you’re feeling. Remember HIS goodness and grace, not your own struggles and weaknesses! 

So much of the well-being of a nation rises or falls with the leadership that’s in place. Today, Pastor Johnny will explain that this was most certainly the case with the kings in Israel. Good, faithful kings brought prosperity and blessing to the nation. And sinful, proud kings brought evil and darkness to the nation.  

The Bible says that Salvation is a gift from God. The thing about a gift is that there’s nothing that we could have done to earn it. Since there was nothing we did to earn it, then there is nothing we can do to lose it. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be sharing about the importance of the Free gift of Salvation!

Hypocrisy is something that Jesus actively preached against. He was constantly rebuking the Pharisees for that very thing. As Christians, we should be demonstrating the things that we preach about. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be sharing about living out the Gospel before Sharing the Gospel. 

Have you ever known someone who knew a lot about Football, but never played the game? Knowledge has value, but there's nothing like applying knowledge to your life. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be encouraging us to not only read the Word of God but to carry out its teachings and commandments every day!

Have you ever found yourself being discontent with something or someone? The temporary fix is to try and find something new, but the core issue is one of the heart. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be encouraging us to check our hearts when we find ourselves grumbling, complaining, or not appreciative of what God’s done!

Everyone is living for something. We all have a greater motivator for why we do the things that we do. As Christians, it should be Jesus. He’s the reason that we live in the Holy and righteous ways. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be sharing the importance of having a testimony of a faithful life lived for Jesus. 

During the early church times, the Bible says that they met together Daily. Today, it’s more likely that you only see people at church once a week. In today's Message, Pastor Johnny will be sharing with us the importance of ensuring we are connected as a body of Christ. Fellowship is meant for more than just a Sunday morning. 

Everyone in life has two options, it is to follow Jesus or the world. Today, Pastor Johnny asks which way we are going. Do you choose things that are pleasing in the eyes of the world? Run to God. When you choose God, He will bring you peace and joy that is better than anything the world has to offer.

When we flee something it means we are running away from it. Today, Pastor Johnny says that we must flee sexual immorality. When you choose to listen to God and run from sexual immorality, He starts to change your mind and thoughts. Instead of objects, those around you become children of God.

What does it mean to have faith? Today, Pastor Johnny says we must have faith in Christ alone. When you have faith in something you are saying you have complete trust in what they are doing. God wants you to have faith so that He can shape you into who you are meant to be through Him. Trust in God today!

Can we all agree that joy is an emotion that we all want to feel? Today, Pastor Johnny says Christians can have joy because we are saved through Christ. God wants you to believe in Him so you can have joy. When you trust Christ, you are a new creation in Him. God wants to work through you, all you have to do is believe.

When we surrender to something, it means you stop fighting what is happening. Today, Pastor Johnny says that as a Christian you must surrender to the Holy Spirit. It will cleanse you and allow you to know what is right and wrong in God’s eyes. When you trust the Holy Spirit, you will become sanctified through Christ.

The Holy Spirit is something that is confusing but also a very important part of becoming a Christian. Today, Pastor Johnny says that the Holy Spirit brings Christians together. When you choose to trust God, you are born again in Christ. Being born again means that the Holy Spirit lives in you and guides you. 

So often the leaders people look up to in the world today are haughty, selfish, and unloving. These leaders can even be in the church. Today, Pastor Johnny will encourage you to seek and follow God as you lead in love and humility. When He guides you as you lead, you’ll do well and succeed as God empowers.  

Many times, people serve in ministry and in the church for accolades and attention. You hope that people will notice all you’re doing, and pray that you’re liked and appreciated.  Well, today Pastor Johnny will encourage you instead to work and serve and minister in order to please God alone. God sees what no one else does.

Learning doctrine and theology is crucial in your life of faith.  But, it can’t be all there is to your faith, Pastor Johnny teaches today. Like the apostle Paul, like Gaius, like many in scripture, it’s important to take the wisdom you learn in the word and turn and live it out in your life and take the word to others!
