On Monday night Kit revealed God's desire and love for us. He also talked about how we are always in the presence of God even though we may not notice it or we overlook it.

Temptation isn't a new thing. Every human being who has known life beyond infancy has battled with it. A bumper sticker said, "Lead me not into temptation, I'm perfectly capable of finding it on my own." We tend to make jokes out of temptation, but if we're going to be real followers of Jesus we need to understand that temptation is not a leisure activity. James talks to Christ followers about the goal and process of temptation, as well as its antidote.

During March Madness many disappointed teams will head home after a loss ended their season and their dreams. After Jesus' death, the disappointment of the disciples was huge. But Jesus had the perfect antidote for life when it breaks.

Anger toward a referee or referees will be expressed during March Madness. With some of the "bad" calls, anger may be justified. Jesus expressed anger during His final week of earthly life. How do you handle temptations to anger in your daily life?

The college basketball teams who have had good seasons but didn't receive the automatic bids await the results of the Selection Committee. During this period of waiting, called being "on the bubble", teams struggle with the fear of not making the tournament field. This bid is a mark of success. As we watch Jesus struggle in the garden on the night of His arrest, we'll contemplate our own fears.

Someone said that parenting pays you back for what a handful you were. No one of sound mind says that parenting is easy, but your investment of personal time and resources can fulfill a God-given responsibility that will yield dividends for generations.

Husbands know their wives are complex individuals that are very different than they are. What does your wife need the most from you? As one wise individual stated, the husband's role is "priest, protector, and provider." God's plan for the husband and your understanding of your wife are not optional if you desire a fulfilling marriage and home.

Wives need to understand how God made men, as well as the uniqueness of the man they married. Wives often fail miserably when they assume that their husbands appreciate the same kindnesses they enjoy. Good marriages are built on God's truth and understanding one another.

Do you feel God more when you are looking out for the needs of other people in your community, your family, or in the world? Or do you feel the closest to God when you experience God's power in in mysterious ways. Are you a person that comes comes to church and cannot wait to clap your hands in excitement to our Lord because you are moved by His Awe and Wonder. During this message we will take a look at the Influence of People and see if these spiritual pathways may best describe your pathway to God.
