Life has radically changed in the last half century, but not all at once. From generation to generation, the changes have come subtly and almost unnoticed. Like a frog in slowly boiling water, we have found ourselves in an environment that could become life-threatening if we don’t become aware of the changes and how to respond. Many of societies values do not line up with God’s. So, how do we guard our souls against the erosion of culture, yet remain a light in the darkness? How do we amplify God’s life-giving message in a culture that so desperately needs it, without completely losing our relevance?
