Today we are kicking off a brand new series called Heroes of the Faith. And while these prominent characters from the Bible may not have super speed or the ability to fly, they still serve as heroes to many of us. At first glance it may seem like these individuals are untouchable--men and women on a higher plane of spirituality, closer to God than you and I could ever be. But upon taking a closer look at the lives of these individuals we find that they are ordinary people like you and me, yet God used them for His extraordinary purposes. So over the next several weeks we're going to take a look at some of the different characters from scripture, highlighting both their strengths and their struggles, their setbacks and successes, in the hopes of uncovering some nuggets of truth that, when applied to our lives, will position us to be used by God in extraordinary ways as well. Exodus 3:1-10
