Anger is a Set-Up! "Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil." Psalm 37:8 There's a proverb that goes, "Anger is a setup!" and it couldn't be more true. When we get angry, we often say and do things that we regret. And, more often than not, the thing we're angry about usually isn't worth getting worked up about in the first place. The Bible has a lot to say about anger. Psalm 4:4 says, "Be angry, yet do not sin; on your bed, search your heart and be still." In other words, when we get angry, we need to make sure that we're in control, not our anger. Remember, it's easy to get caught up in our own emotions and forget what God wants us to do.
