Ephesians 6:18 According to Leonard Ravenhill, he said, "A man may study because his brain is hungry for knowledge; even the bible knowledge. But he prays because his soul is hungry for God." In others words, his soul is hungry for deliverance, for a change, and breakthrough. This is why we must be bold and courageous when we come to the throne of grace to receive mercy in times of need. Jesus said that when we pray, we should always believe that we will receive what we ask for (Mark 11:24). This is the principle of faith that underlies breakthrough prayer.
