Within the cenote and as the dust settles, or perhaps better to say the end of splashings and thrashings, a lone body balances between floating and sinking.  The cantankerous barbarian dwarf has ants in his pants and runs to and fro, sticking his nose into everyone’s business.  The hidden knowledge from a time best forgotten, aids one of the companions in knowing that the guardian of this place, tends to also be the minion of an aboleth.  What lies past that glowing underwater entrance?  Do you wanna know more? Embers from a Chimney II is a Crimson Nib podcast that will journey with 4 wayward adventurers into the heart of the Southlands; a land of mystery and adventure, where riches and dangers await those brave enough to cross the wild expanses. The campaign setting is Southlands from Kobold Press. We are using the D&D 5E ruleset, and we game using the Fantasy Grounds virtual tabletop.
