Andy Johnson was a hobbyist woodworker that set out to make a cutting board simply because it sounded like an enjoyable project to do. However, he ended up enjoying it so much that he didn’t stop at just one and in 2018, Two Acre Woodworks was born. With what started as a hobby, Two Acres Woodworks is now a wood business that specializes mostly in custom cutting boards. With a little over 11.5 followers on Instagram, the IG platform brings in the majority of Andy’s clients and he ships to them all across the United States. Most recently he shipped a board all the way to Alaska! Show Highlights: With a niche that’s not unknown and many other makers in the cutting board sphere, Andy says that initially, one of his biggest struggles was product sales. However, between his Instagram marketing technique and his unique and beautiful designs, he was still able to go full-time and establish himself as a leader in the space.Andy is currently working on an artisan series of design boards that will soon be released
