You need to hear this today, and it may piss you off… But it’s my job to give it to you straight, so you can have the success you so badly want. The main reason you aren’t where you want to be yet, is because your expectations versus reality are way off base. I’m not blaming you, social media has done a number of all of us, when we watch Polly the Influencer # 374 saying she made 6-figures in her first 6 months of business, only doing what she “loooooves.” And here you are 6 months in, nowhere near that number, and you don’t know what you’re missing! When our expectations are far off from reality, it’s a set up for feeling shame (“what am I doing wrong?”), which will lead to thinking you should quit, which then leads to you taking your foot off the gas, and now you aren’t showing up ALL IN for your business. Yet, you still have this expectation that it should somehow still be growing, even though with you operating it like a hobby.
