For The Generation

Whew! This is the first episode of the fall y’all! We are so excited to be Back! In a long-overdue episode, JC, Memo, and Ms. Love uncover the intersections of the first-gen and transfer identity. They tackle the stigmas of agism found in higher education and break down the constraint that we are all on a societal clock. Although being a transfer student can be difficult when adjusting to academic and social life, it’s especially challenging when including the first-gen identity. Ms. Love blamelessly shares her experience with the transition from a junior college into the prestigious university, LMU. Ultimately, our mission is to represent the under and/or misrepresented in higher education and establish a platform for those who are muted. In high respects to our audience, we envision all listeners being able to resonate and connect with the discourse that For The Generation promotes.
