For The Generation

In this episode, we begin to celebrate First To Go's 10th year anniversary with the founder of the program, Dr. La'Tonya Rease Miles, also known as LT by the higher education and first-gen community. Dr. La'Tonya Rease Miles is currently the Director of UCLA's First Year Experience (FYE) Office and oversees many additional initiatives including UCLA's First To Go Program.  LT shares the origin story of the First To Go Program at LMU, her work in first-gen studies, and some personal anecdotes. It is important to honor and celebrate how far First To Go at LMU has come as this is just the beginning of our journey! We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did!
