Today we conclude our last lesson from Christ’s Sermon on the Mount. In verses 28-29 of Chapter 7 we see the response of the people to what Jesus had been teaching, and we see why they responded the way that they did. How do we respond to the words of Jesus? The questions on the Study Guide may be answered by all who can read the text so children can get most of the answers right from the Bible. There was quite a contrast between the teachings of Jesus and those of the religious leaders of His day. Where did He get such authority, wisdom and boldness? We need to know because we can get it from the same source.
