We hear the term counseling and often what comes to mind is the image of a professional with a PhD or some similar certification. We don't consider ourselves as believers in Christ to be 'qualified,' as it were, for the task of helping others through difficult life situations. But as we examine our text for today from Romans 12, Pastor Carnett makes a convincing case from the Word of God that we do indeed have an obligation and a responsibility to apply the principles given in Scripture to everyday life and the problems we face living in today's world.
