The Apostle Paul writes in Colossians 3:5, "Put to death therefore what is earthly." He then goes on to compare the old self versus the new self in which God wants us to live. This phrase "put to death" means exactly what it says; we are to put to death the old self with its old ways along and its old thinking. The kid gloves are to come off. This is a daily willful act to get rid of our old sinful self, and choosing to live in the Spirit. As Pastor Steve puts it, "To put to death the old self is an act of spiritual suicide." But, how are we supposed to "put to death our old self?" And what does this mean in 2018? Join us as we continue our series "Blueprints for Life."
