Somewhere along the line, many Christians have bought the lie that a life following Christ gives you a ticket to the easy life. Most people would say they don't think this way, but when trouble strikes, they begin blaming God and asking "Why me?" Jesus said in John 16:33, "“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” If we have already been told by Jesus that we will have trouble, the question becomes "Where do we turn when the trouble hits?" Is Jesus really enough to help me through life? Does He really care about me? The truth is that Jesus is enough- even when we don't "feel it!"
