We continue another week in the book of Exodus (chapter 6 verses 1-12) where Moses begins to doubt God, and the task he was given to confront Pharaoh. Like many of us, Moses figured after he obeyed God and told Pharaoh to let the Israelites go, everything would happen as expected: Pharaoh would listen and Israel would be free once again. Sounds simple, right? Like many things in life, it is never as simple as it seems. Pharaoh not only ignored Moses request, but he actually made life harder on the Israelites by taking away their straw supply to make bricks while still requiring the same amount of bricks to be made every day. What does Moses do? He goes to straight to God with his concerns and doubt. And there it is . . . doubt. What do we do when we begin to doubt God? How about when we doubt ourselves and our calling?
