As we continue to work through our message "Family Matters," one phrase continues to come up week after week: "As much as our family matters to us, our families matter even more to God." This is why God has given so many words of wisdom when it comes to the family. This week Pastor Steve talks to us about leaving a legacy and passing the baton. In a relay race, it is not always the fastest runners that win. The race is won and lost in the exchange of the baton. David writes of this "baton exchange" in Psalm 78:4, "We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done."
