On this day in 1941, Hitler “suspended” his eugenics program that had murdered over 50,000 mentally ill and handicapped children, in addition to the Jewish children he’d already had exterminated. Mike reports that the program was, in reality, simply transferred to Poland. As eugenics is practiced in Iceland to eliminate down syndrome, he asks we look at Margaret Sanger’s racist and ableist legacy of Planned Parenthood in the United States.
