Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s. You’ve probably already figured out from the poster above that one of the segments on this week’s Rapidly Rotating Records is songs from Benny Goodman’s historic Carnegie Hall Concert of January 16, 1938. But that’s not the only thing that happened on January 16th in history. You’ll find out another in the second segment of the show, about Prohibition.
