Prior to his current position, Dr. Stephan founded and served as President and CEO of Silicon Valley Biosystems, which offers genome-based diagnostics at the point of care.  Prior to SVBio, he led the Gene Partnership Project at Children’s Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School, founded several companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, and served on the leadership team at the Translational Genomics Research Institute.
