We got to thinking about bars after seeing the news earlier this week that the Brown Hotel’s Lobby bar recently was expanded. Our northern neighbors in Indiana reported earlier this week that Hoosiers made $93 million in gambling wagers during the month of October. This gave Indiana more than $1 million in tax revenue just in that month alone. We could be making similar money in Kentucky but sports betting is illegal here.
