On March 8, 2020, Valley Presbyterian Church celebrated our second Sunday of Lent, as we continue to explore our "Forgiven and Free" sermon series. Rev. Jenny Warner preached on "The Truth of the Matter is ...", looking more deeply at owning the reality of our stories. Speaking honestly is essential to forgiveness. Scripture describes Nicodemus coming to Jesus in the night with his story. Nicodemus catches a glimpse that there is a different way to hold the story of his life and the story of God that is about grace and not rules.
