Debuting 15 years ago with a one-hour show on SyFy, WWECW was an attempt to capitalize on potent ECW nostalgia by creating a unique third brand with ECW originals, bloody hardcore matches, and a grittier feel. But over time, the brand morphed into something much different than the original ECW.
