Based just east of Dallas, Texas, Rockwall High School Walk The Line shares with us their evolution and growth into a high school group that competes nationally and delights audiences. They talk about how they do what they do, and sing us some of their current songs. Recorded in 2017.

Hailing from Chelmsford, Massachusetts, The Thursdays have been distinguishing themselves for several years. While at the ICHSA National Finals, we invited them into the mobile studio to talk about their path to New York, how they select their music, and what they get from their time in the group. Plus, they sing some of their award-winning music! Recorded in 2017.

In 2017, BLACKOUT joined us in the mobile studio to talk about their formation as a group, how they bond (and how that helps them musically), and how they structure the group to make sure things get accomplished and goals get set and reached. Coming from Arkansas, the Jacksonville HS Vocal Jazz joined us to talk about how they've transitioned to more of a contemporary a cappella focus, and what that means for their sound. We talk about what it's like to join a group in flux, and how the members have helped shape what's ahead. They also sang some songs for us! There are big advantages and disadvantages to building a post-collegiate group in New York City. We talk with Mezzo about both this episode, along with how their sound is continuing to evolve. While with us in the mobile studio, they sing us some tunes as well! Recorded in 2017.

We invited Top Shelf into the mobile studio to talk about how they've been focusing their rep and evolving their sound, how they make big decisions together, and about their vibe today. While with us, they sang us some of their current songs as well. Recorded in 2017.

VoiceJam is a festival that brings together groups from around the world, and while we were there, we brought Chinese group WOW Voice Group into the mobile studio to learn more about their journey. They've been around only a year or so, and despite speaking in a non-native language, did a great job of talking about their music and influences. We also heard them sing us some tunes!

Lustre Quartet has won all kinds of awards in a cappella, including some of the most prestigious barbershop awards around (they have tiaras!) - so when we invited them into the mobile studio, we knew we were in for a treat! The session was fun and funny, as they walked us through how they work together as a team and make great music. They even sang some of that great music for us, too! Recorded in 2017.

The sound of Doo Wop Sounds is remarkable and unmistakable - smooth, clean, and crisp. We invited them into the mobile studio to sing for us, and to share their journey as a group, both metaphorically and literally - from Korea to Arkansas for VoiceJam! Recorded in 2017.

Schola Cantorum might just hold the record for the largest group we've ever had in #TheSpotlight - because it's pretty unusual to have a choir join us. But while together, they shared their more contemporary a cappella repertoire, and then talked about their impressive history at the University of Arkansas. Recorded in 2017.

While in the Northeast, we were able to invite the women of ShockWave from Rutgers into the mobile studio to share their history, their recent recording experiences, and their plans for the future. While together, they shared some of their current songs as well. Recorded in 2017.

While together in the mobile studio, we talked with CONNECT about their growth and change - both in terms of brand and music - and the path they're on now (including being finalists at the Harmony Sweeps!). They sang us some of their current music as well. Recorded in 2017.

While in NYC, we had the pleasure of inviting the women of Martini Glass into the mobile studio to talk about life as a post-collegiate group, their founding and early growth, and all the things on their to-do list for the foreseeable future. It's a lot! We also got a chance to hear them sing and have some laughs... Recorded in 2017.

While in New York for the ICCA Finals, we invited the Amazin' Blue from the University of Michigan into the studio to talk about their competition journey, their focus on continuous improvement, and their vibe today. They also sang us some of their award-winning music. Recorded in 2017.

While in San Rafael, California for the National Harmony Sweepstakes Finals, we were delighted to sit down with the guys of Fireside Quartet. They talked with us about their immersion in the Barbershop Harmony Society and the competition scene there, as well as their experiences competing in the Harmony Sweepstakes. We also heard some of their award-winning sound. Recorded in 2017.

Backtrack has grown into an impressive pro group in a fairly short time, winning competitions and developing a national presence. They have toured the country and worked the cruise ship circuit, creating a career in a cappella. We talked with them about all that, and heard some of their current music. Recorded in 2017.

When In Achord from Boston University joined us in the mobile studio, we were delighted! We heard them sing some of their current music, and talked with them about putting on joint concerts and events, the role of competition for the group, and where they see the group evolving from here. The University of Maryland Faux Paz joined us in the mobile studio to talk about their origins, their impressive history, and what's ahead for their future. We talked about how they continue to evolve the sound of the group, through music selection and arranging. We also heard their sound, as they sang some tunes! Recorded in 2017.

While at the Bend A Cappella Festival in Oregon, we talked with the South Albany High School Rebelation! They are based in Oregon as well, and are one of a handful of HS groups in the state getting acclaim regionally. We talk with them about their growth, and hear them sing some songs. We were so pleased to welcome the Tufts University Beelzebubs into our mobile studio. In addition to sounding amazing on some live tunes, they were also thoughtful and well-spoken about the benefits and drawbacks of having an impressive history, and how that informs the way they move forward.
