Just before taking the stage in New York for their second ICHSA Finals appearance in a row, the members of Vocal Point from Gale-Ettrick-Trempeleau (G-E-T) joined us to talk about doing it all again, lessons learned, and what's ahead. Plus, they sing some tunes for us live in the mobile studio.

We invited Legacy into our mobile studio in New York, where they were competing in (and winning) the ICHSA national finals. We talked about how they came together to form a new group, managing rehearsals when they all live far apart, and more. Plus, they sang some tunes for us live!

While in New York for the ICCA finals (where they again ranked as one of the top three collegiate groups in the world), the University of Chicago Voices In Your Head joined us in the mobile studio to talk about their evolution as a group, finding a new group culture, and the ICCA. The University of Utah's Infrared joins us in #TheSpotlight mobile studio to talk about being one of very few a cappella groups on campus and building an a cappella culture, along with building momentum for the group. They also sing some tunes for us live!

The main campus of BYU gets a lot of a cappella attention, with something like two dozen groups - but BYU's Idaho campus has singers, too. The Stanford Mendicants are one of the longest-standing collegiate groups on the west coast, having been founded in 1963. When they joined us in #TheSpotlight, we talked about their path forward and how they decide each year's focus. We also recorded them singing some current tunes. Recorded in 2018.

Lisa Forkish has done a bit of everything - and done it well. Her high school group, OSA Vocal Rush, has won the ICHSA National Finals more than any other group. Her post-collegiate groups (including HIVE) have distinguished themselves with awards and amazing music.
