In this episode of One Vision, Theo chats with Laura Kornhauser and Deniz Johnson from Stratyfy, on their journey from bias detection and mitigation, to driving greater financial inclusion and mitigating risks for financial institutions. There is always going to be bias in the data. The question is not so much so if the data is biased; but more so on how it is biased. It is not a set and done deal, according to Laura. Increasingly, regulators will require more transparency on how decisions are made by algorithms, control on how such such powerful technologies will be utilized — and ultimately, how individuals and small businesses will be impacted.
