We close out our message series in the last two chapters of Nehemiah, taking a look into how the book ends and what we can learn from how Nehemiah handled the situation.

With 2 weeks left in our Nehemiah series, we're getting ready to close it out by looking at chapter 10 and the curse and oath Israel commits themselves to by not neglecting the house of God.

We're in Nehemiah chapter 9 for a history lesson of the history of the Israelite people, remembering God's faithfulness and their wickedness, yet still He kept His covenant. We also look into Exodus 32 and Mark 8 to tie things together.

We continue in the book of Nehemiah, now in chapter 8, and take a look into the Feast of Booths (Tabernacles) that was held in Jerusalem; Pastor Smith leads us to reference John 7 when Jesus celebrated that feast also, and we close out by circling to James 1.

In this long - but important - message for our 'house' here at True Life Church, we look into Nehemiah chapter 8 as we explore (and will begin to experiment with) reminders that there is a day to keep holy for the Lord.

One of our Elders, David Allen, steps in to give a message on the "upside down kingdom". Jesus came to establish a kingdom, and if we're open to it, it won't look like we'd expect it to.

On this Easter Sunday, we take a look at 7 parallels where we're at in the book of Nehemiah that point us to Christ. We canvas Genesis to Revelation, Psalms to Romans and the Gospels to paint the picture of what Jesus on the cross really means for us.

On this Palm Sunday, we continue in our Nehemiah series and learn from some important financial decisions he had to make. We also take a hard look at what WE are building right now here at True Life Church and cast a vision into the future.

In part 5 of our Nehemiah series, we look at some hurdles he went through as they rebuilt the wall around Jerusalem: the problems were soon realized to be a heart issue INSIDE the walls instead of the enemies outside them. Likewise, are OUR hearts ripe or rotten? We also look at 1 Samuel 16, Genesis 2 & 3, Romans 11 as well as some practical gardening science to tie it all together.

Part 4 of the series leads us into chapter 4 of Nehemiah, where we learn how we're not just meant to build OR fight, but to do both - as we remember the Lord and take a stand for our families.

Week 4 continues to 'build' in the series, starting off with a quick recap of what has led us to here, then reading all of chapter 3 to learn a few important lessons about building the church as God builds us.

"Building" upon week 1, we continue in the series, and examine the unavoidable parallels between Nehemiah and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

We kick off a new series in the book of Nehemiah, picking up after our "Return to Me" series, which covered 2nd Chronicles and Ezra, and ended up finishing with chapter 1 of Nehemiah. We're looking at Nehemiah in 3 main sections: repentance, reconstruction, and restoration. As we work on our church and our hearts, we walk away from this message with 2 main points that should impact our faith mindset.

One of our Elders, Lance Williams, steps in to close out our Return to Me series. He leads us to take a closer look at John 11, reminds us of the benefit of being involved in a community of believers (like a Life Group), and our call to be - and live - like Jesus.

This message begins with the bonus message as we prepared for communion, and you're invited to join us as you listen. Part 2 begins with the sermon following the Lord's Supper. We recap and move out of the book of Ezra and into the next one: Nehemiah, where Pastor Josh teaches us from God's Word that we can't skip step one. What IS step one? Take a listen.

As we continue in our series, we move out of 2 Chronicles into Ezra. We learn some significant historical information about Babylon, Persia, and Biblical prophecies fulfilled, and close with a look at how knowing where we've come from shows us how important our repentance is not only for ourselves, but for future generations. **The podcast intentionally cuts off the 30 minutes that the church shared and repented with each other, un-miked and special for those who were there.

We continue in our series as well as in the storyline of 2 Chronicles, now taking a look at King Josiah in chapter 35. The Truth not only sets us free, it should humble us to repentance.

Brad Decatur, one of the Elders here at True Life Church, steps in to give a message in our "Return to Me" series. Have your Bibles ready, because we're going to look at a lot of scripture and talk about general vs. specific revelation.

Week 4 of our Return to Me series starts us thinking about that wonderful day from elementary school: show and tell. As we continue in 2nd Chronicles 33, we land on the life of Manasseh and an incredible 'show and tell' that we can participate in.

Week 3 of our Return to Me series narrows down the road we should walk if we're to really return to the Lord.
