It's our first show of 2012, and what better way to put 2011 to bed than with our picks for the Best Movies of the Year? We'll be joined by NextMovie.com's Sandie Angulo Chen, as well as featuring the thoughts of some our favorite local critics.  We'll also have our reviews of Paramount's next big horror franchise, The Devil Inside, and Dee Rees' powerful debut feature, Pariah! It's the holiday season, and as usual Hollywood has seen fit to bury us beneath a mountain of new movies. We've got a lot to cover this week as we'll take a look at two Steven Spielberg movies, the animated The Adventures of Tintin, and War Horse. Then we'll dive into the spooky world of David Fincher's remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.  Plus we'll get our spirits lifted with Cameron Crowe and his family comedy, We Bought A Zoo! And last but not least we'll spend a few minutes with the silent film that has had critics raving, The Artist!  It's a jam packed show, so we hope you'll join us in the chat room!

We've had to leave you without our spectacle of cinematic calamity more than we'd like so we're going to try and make it up with our reviews of the new biopic J. Edgar and the latest "From the producers of '300' (that's officialy a genre now by the way) movie Immortals. Also a discussion about the future of the sword and sandal genre, what will be the next game changing aspect to revive movies of the 300 gene pool?   All this and we'll rundown the biggest headlines, talk home releases, and all the other usual goodness!  

It's Halloween season, right? And that means it's the time when the ghouls, and witches, an poltergeists come out to play. Once we've stopped hiding our faces in our hands, we'll bring you our take on Paranormal Activity 3! Plus we'll have reviews of The Three Musketeers, and Pedro Almodovar's twisted The Skin I Live In! The third film in any franchise is usually where the quality starts to take a turn for the worse, but they can't all be bad. We'll try to pluck out the good from the terrible by choosing our Top 5 Threequels!

On this week's episode we step into the ring with Hugh Jackman and a bunch of uppercuttin' robots in the futuristic boxing flick, Real Steel! Plus, the campaign season is upon us as we take a look at George Clooney's star studded political thriller, The Ides of March! All this and much much more! So we took a week off, so sue us! Maybe after this episode you'll realize why we needed the break. Seth Rogen and writer Will Reiser invade Punch Drunk Critics International to talk their new film, the cancer dramedy 50/50, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt! Plus we'll have reviews of Anna Faris and Chris Evans in What's Your Number, and Gerard Butler in Machine Gun Preacher. And if we're feeling cheritable we'll show some love to a couple of films the studios didn't want us to see, Taylor Lautner's Abduction, and Dream House starring Daniel Craig!

Remake. The word brings a shudder to movie fans everywhere, yet we still go to see them. So maybe they're not as bad as we make them out to be. Hopefully there's at least a few that aren't as the guys bring you their top 5 remakes as well as 1 film they think missed the mark by the most. Then on to the latest Hollywood mulligan 'Straw Dogs' as well as the too cool for school action flick 'Drive' starring Ryan Gosling.    But wait! There's more! Summer kicked off like a bolt of lightning(Thor) and went out like a wimpy punk with a dull blade(Conan the Barbarian). But now the fall season is here, when we'll be treated to the films that will be on all of our minds when the Academy Awards roll around. We'll take a look at the most anticipated movies of the fall season, as well as bring you our reviews of Contagion and Warrior! Join us this Sunday night at 7pm eastern for another great show!

Sex, sequels, and superheroes. The 2011 summer movie season has drawn to a close and while it's not going to score any points for breaking the creative mold, the box office numbers don't lie and this one was a scorcher! But do the numbers tell the whole story? What was the best comic book movie? The best comedy? Who was the breakout star of the season? The biggest disappointments? We'll be joined by Keeping It Reel's Tim Gordon to breakdown what has been another wild summer at the movies!

We slow it down from the all the summer blockbusters with a few films that have kept a lower profile. The first is Guillermo Del Toro's remake of the 1973 TV horror, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. Was this mostly unseen cult film worth dusting off? Plus, Zoe Saldana finally gets the spotlight all to herself in Colombiana, from the team behind The Professional and The Transporter! As the summer may be winding down, but one of the season's hottest films is just making it's way to our shores. We take a look at Joe Cornish's crtiically revered alien invasion film, Attack the Block, and determine if it's truly worth all the hype? Plus we had a chance to sit down with John Boyega, fresh faced star of Attack the Block to talk about the films that inspired his performance, and also what his future in the industry holds. That's not all as we'll clash swords with the relaunch of Conan the Barbarian, and the Colin Farrell starring remake of Fright Night. What a week! A well rounded week to say the least! From escaping the inescapible in the form of death, to crusading against inequality and denial of humanity, and all the way down to a forced robbery comedy! We duck for cover and try to avoid the monkey apocalypse in our reviews of Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the prequel/reboot of the classic sci-fi franchise. Plus we'll take a look at the body swapping comedy, The Change-Up, starring Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds. And Dominic Cooper does double duty in The Devil's Double, playing the insane son of Saddam Hussein!We hope you'll join us for another jam packed show!

The summer superhero season comes to a shield bashin' end with Captain America: The First Avenger! How does the patriotic superhero's big screen adventure measure up to the rest of the season's crop?  Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis try to add sex to their friendship in Friends with Benefits. It All Ends! Not for us, but for Harry Potter and the rest of the Hogwarts gang this week marks the end of their decade long adventure. Where does the Harry Potter series rank of the best franchises of all-time? We'll be joined by The Washington Post's Jen Chaney to get her thoughts on the big finale. Plus, we'll take a look at the hip hop documentary, Beats Rhymes and Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest. And let's not forget Disney bringing back that honey loving bear, Winnie the Pooh!
