This week on PDC Live!! we are joined by the directors of what is being called "The Best Stop-Motion Film in 20 Years" Paranorman. In what is sure to be a jam packed week we will also be reviewing Paranorman and don't forget The Expendables 2...I'm rarely THIS excited to see both movies coming out in a single week but Paranorman looks amazing and Expendables 2 features my childhood hero, Jean Claude Vann-Damme!!! What better way to celebrate our 150th episode than with the movie event of the year? This week we'll be looking at the epic conclusion to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, 'The Dark Knight Rises!' Can it possibly live up to the hype? We'll try to keep it spoiler-free folks, but the question "How does Anne Hathaway look in spandex?" will be answered! We'll also take a look back at the entire trilogy and assess its place in history.We want to know your thoughts, so join us in the chat room or call in to let your voice be heard.

As we enter into the thick of the summer movie season, we'll be talking three films that are highly anticipated for very different reasons. Marc Webb and Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man reboot has been the source of much controversy, but did they make the right move in starting over? Or did they make a very expensive, high profile mistake? Plus, Oliver Stone returns to his gritty roots with the star-studded crime flick, Savages. Beasts of the Southern Wild has taken the festival circuit by storm, but will the film capture hearts and minds now that it's in theaters? All this, plus our usual mix of box office and movie news, DVD releases, and whatever else springs to mind. Join us for an earlier edition of what should be a fantastic show!

It's crazy how time flies. We're already halfway through 2012, and so far we've seen some incredible movies. We've had Liam Neeson fighting wolves in 'The Grey'; '21 Jump Street' brought back to incredible success; 'The Avengers' running roughshod over the box office; and learned the secrets of the universe in 'Prometheus'. But what was the best movie of the year so far? We'll be joined by local Washington DC film critics: Nell Minow of Beliefnet; Tim Gordon of FilmGordon; and Chesapeake Family Magazine's Rocky Hadadi to reveal our picks for the Best Movies and Performances for the first half of 2012. We'll be talking to the director of Seeking a friend... the beautiful Lorene Scafaria (I'm not just saying that...look at the picture the woman is gorgeous!). Saying we have a full slate this week is probably an understatement. With no less than 5 movies hitting theaters this week it's going to be a toss up for what's going to get our full attention. As far as major movies go Tom Cruise channels his inner Bret Micheals in the 80's rock musical 'Rock of Ages'. Adam Sandler puts on a mullett wig and his favorite accent in 'That's My Boy', not to mention the indie festival fav's 'Saftey Not Guaranteed' and 'My Sister's Sister'. I'm hesitant to say well get to everything else, but you know us...we'll find a way. Tune in and give us a call Sunday night at 7!

This week on PDC Live the guys cover polar opposite films in Ridley Scott's Xenomorphic Prometheus and animated animal sillyness with Madagascar 3: Europes's Most Wanted. In honor of Prometheus, a quasi-prequel to Alien, Travis and I will be running down what we think are the Top 5 Sci-Fi/Horror films of all time. As always we'll be bringing you everything interesting from the news desk of the movie world, the latest DVD's and a roundup of the weekends box office.  

This week the PDC talks three seperate movies that when combined make a totally confusing yet intriguing episode title! Snow White shakes off the helpless damself stigma by donning a sword and dropping the dwarves for Huntsman in "Snow White and the Huntsman", the 3D sequel that no one saw coming... 'Piranha 3DD', and we may even get time to talk war with 'For Greater Glory'. Guess what? We're even throwing in all the news, DVD's and box office you can handle!

On this week's show, we'll journey back in time to save the world with Agents J and K in 'Men in Black 3'! Ten years since Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones last teamed up, does anybody care about Men in Black anymore? Or are we looking at another old, formerly popular franchise that has lost its relevance? Plus, we'll scare up a review for 'Chernobyl Diaries', the latest intense, psycho-horror from 'Paranormal Activity' creator, Oren Peli!
