If we are going to love our neighbors, we must be willing to serve them sacrificially. When we refuse to love our neighbors, we sacrifice them to the possibility of missing out on an encounter with God. In this message, we continue to glean from the parable of the Good Samaritan to learn what it takes to love and care for people.

If we are going to love our city and allow God to use us to love our neighbors, we must get over our biases. We all have biases. We choose relationships based on biases; some of us choose where we live based on biases; choose the churches we attend based on biases. In God’s family, there is no bias because everyone needs God. Since this is the case, we cannot choose whom we love based on their background, skin color, economic status, political views, social standing, gender, ethnicity, agreement/disagreement with our beliefs, and appearance – BECAUSE GOD WANTS THEM TO BE A PART OF HIS FAMILY TOO.

Oftentimes when it comes to acts of service and expressing the love of God, we go for them in moments. Some of us do it out of duty, for an emotional high, or out of obligation. In this message, we examine a parable and see that there are three types of people: Robbers, Religious People, and the One Who Loves. Which neighbor are you? Which neighbor do you commit to be from this day forward?

We've all heard the old adage, "don't sweat the small stuff," but we should sweat it because small stuff matters. The little things we allow to go uncorrected, the small stuff that we let slide, is what life's biggest problems are made of. God's wisdom should be the most desirable thing in our lives because it is the one thing that provides a sure return. Christ has redeemed us because the price has been paid for. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light; He's the one that helps us get there, but we must be willing to go there. One of the greatest challenges to following the wisdom of God is our natural ability to hear his voice. Why do we turn away from God's wisdom? One of the most common reasons is that we believe that hearing about God is the same as hearing from God. In this message, we learn how to search for wisdom and how to respond to wisdom's call.

There's a difference between God's wisdom and man's wisdom. Man's wisdom is dumb - slow to understand, lacking good judgment, lacking acuteness of vision and perception. God's wisdom provides us with knowledge, understanding, and application. In this message, we'll learn how to rely on God's wisdom for our continual growth in life.

God does not impose pain or conjure up hurtful experiences to help us grow. This does not negate the fact that we undergo painful circumstances in life. In this message, we learn how to respond in the face of these circumstances and turn pain into gain.

Every day is a gift from God and what we do with it matters. Our thought life is like a box that can trap us unless we learn how to break free from it. Without renovation in the mind we cannot expect transformation for our lives. In this message, we learn how to break the box in our mind so we can win the day.

Life with God is a guarantee that we have hope for tomorrow, provides us purpose beyond today and provides us an escape out of the temporal and into the eternal. But the truth is it takes power beyond our means in the present to win at life. The promise tomorrow always holds pressure today. In this message, we learn how we can effectively press on today so that we can win the day and see what God has provided into our tomorrows.
