Jan Engels-Smith is a master of transformation. Through decades of experience as a master teacher and shamanic practitioner, she has captured the essence of change and well-being. Jan is an author, a Shamanic Practitioner (ShD), an Usui, Tibetan and Karuna Reiki Master, a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Chemical Dependency Specialist and a Hypnotherapist. Jans mission is to provide excellence in energy healing and education, and to support personal growth for well-being, adapting ancient healing techniques to contemporary life in the 21st century. In 1994, Jan founded LightSong School of Shamanic Studies and Energy Medicine and has developed the first energy medicine curriculum of its kind, which allows for those with a curious interest in energy medicine, right through to those that would like to obtain a doctorate in shamanism (ShD).Jans new book, Through the Rabbit Hole: Exploring Energy and the Shamanic Journey will be available by January 2015. Jans book Becoming Yourself: The Journey from Head to Heart, won the Readers Choice Award from iUniverse. She is a diamond level author with Ezine Articles and writes a monthly article for Sedona Journal of Emergence. Jan also authored two CDs: Take Your Body With You a shamanic drumming CD and Awaken~Unburden~Create a meditation CD package of shamanic principles.
