Pastor Taylor continues his message about being grounded and rooted in God

The question is: "How far does your love go?" Or let's phrase it another way, "How far do you ALLOW love to go?"

We are contiuing our series on Being Rooted and Grounded in Love with a practical application of Paul's prayer for all of us.

How do we take this amazing love of our Father and remain rooted in it?

The Love of Jesus is an amazing example and picture of how we should live out our lives here on earth!

In our highly competitive culture, we as believers are confronted with a definition of "greatness" that is polar opposite to the "greatness" that Jesus taught and showed us. We look at how the Lord Jesus defines "greatness" and are challenged to live in such a way in our daily lives.

In becoming a living sacrifice for Jesus Christ, God will test us and doing so for his perfect purposes in us. As we continue our study of Joseph in the Old Testament, we have the opportunity to ask and examine ourselves to see if we are ready for God's testing us.

Continuing the "Living Sacrifice" series, we look at how to prepare ourselves for passing the tests of our faith and maturity in Christ. Looking at things like our attitudes, our moral integrity, our work ethic and more we will see how to better be prepared for our faith's testings.

As we delve further into our calling to be living sacrifices for Christ, we look specifically at how we are to fulfill the purposes of God in our lives and what route He has for each of us. In this calling, we are to take of the attitude of Christ-one of humility and servanthood.

The life of Joseph in the Old Testament was one of testings and success in God. As we look at the character of Joseph, we see how God can and will use our lives greatly for His Kingdom as we are humbly submitted to His Leadership.

In part 3 of "A Living Sacrifice", we recall the submitted and obedient life we are to have towards God in our life in Christ. We also look at the wonderful faithfulness of the God to Whom we are living and how He demonstrates such faithfulness toward His people.

In part 2 of "A Living Sacrifice", we continue to look at the sacrificial life God has called us to in our obedience to Christ. In this life, and as we see in the life of Joseph, our focus and attention is taken off of living for ourselves and others and onto living wholly for God.
