  • The Journey

    31/03/2019

Life is a journey. But, if we’re not careful, we can end up wandering, and then wondering if there is more. The final weeks of Jesus’ life were anything but aimless wandering. They were filled with events that defined who He was and left us clues to who we are called to be. They were moments that point to an even bigger journey God has prepared for all of us. As we lead up to Easter, join us for a new series on Sundays at 9am and 10:45am or live online, as we examine the messages revealed in The Journey of Jesus’ final days on Earth and what they mean for us today.

  • Live Free

    17/03/2019

Can we ever truly live free? Or does it depend on your definition? There’s a huge difference between doing whatever you want whenever you want, versus living free from greed, disappointment, and stress. Living selfishly can only provide so much happiness, while living selflessly can provide an eternity of joy regardless of your circumstances.

  • SHIFT 2019

    13/01/2019

As we start 2019, there is plenty to look back on and celebrate. But, a desperate, hurting world remains that needs the local church. Change is inevitable. Culture is shifting. So how can we respond? The truth of God’s Word will never change regardless of how much the world changes. But, as messengers of God’s grace, the ways we reach people with that message must shift. Join us as we kick off 2019 discussing how God wants us to respond personally, locally, and globally to the culture shift we are experiencing.

  • Simple Christmas

    23/12/2018

Do we have the meaning of Christmas all wrong? Why does it seem like this season gets more and more mixed up. We’re so easily distracted, that we’ve forgotten what to focus on, and how to even share it with others. This year, despite what you might believe about Christmas, about traditions, or even about the Bible, we want to challenge you to keep Christmas simple by refocusing on the basics; God’s presence, peace, and purpose. Join us for Simple Christmas, a four-week series designed to help us prepare our hearts and keep the main thing about Christmas the main thing for this season and beyond.

  • Now What?

    18/11/2018

Now what? It’s a common question. When Jesus left and the disciples had to rely on the Holy Spirit, how did they handle certain situations? We deal with this too. When circumstances seem out of your control, and life takes you on a roller coaster, what do you do? One day you’re blessed by a fortunate occurrence that seemed to fall in your lap, but the next has a doctor delivering bad news in an exam room. Life is filled with moments that demand the question, “now what?” In this series, we will examine how followers of Christ should respond to crisis, tragedy, triumph, growth, disappointment, victory and everyday battles. Services are Sunday at 9am and 10:45am. Join us at WCC or live online.
