Others will be angered by your relationship with Jesus. They'll be insulted by the idea that they're destined for hell and you're not. Pastor Johnny challenges you today to not be discouraged by those who speak against Jesus. Don't dispute or become cruel with them if they don't believe. Instead, be kind, gracious, and loving to them. Be a positive light in their life and when the day comes when they ask about your kindness, tell them it's because of Jesus. Have you really let the message of Jesus sink in? Do you fully grasp what it is that He's given you and what He asks? It's good to place focus on the important things in life. Your job, family, and friends should be acknowledged and pursued, but you mustn't bury God under those things. Set aside time for Jesus and allow Him to be the One who decides your priorities for all other things. Do this and you'll find a peace in life that many search for but cannot find.

At the end of the day, a seed can only flourish if it's planted in rich soil. Seeds placed into piles of dust will simply be blown away. What is your motive to go to Church? Are you there to see your friends and hear the worship band, or are you there to connect with God? Pastor Johnny reminds you today what Church is for. He encourages you to know that Jesus is the priority of Church and as such, to act accordingly when you go there. Go to Church hungry for Jesus and His Word. Help your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ keep their hearts in the right place. Contribute to your church and help make it a Christ -centered congregation.

It's important to understand the magnitude of your sin. Take the time to examine the things in your life that are questionable or outright wrong and define why they are so. Do this so that you can fully understand the value of Jesus' influence in your life. Today, Pastor Johnny warns you against thinking that your sin's not so bad. He reminds you that Jesus is the measuring stick that you must measure yourself to. He alone should be the One who defines good to you and as such, you should realize how far you stray from Him.

The New Testament has a different command; love those who hate you and forgive those who wrong you. It’s not easy and the only way to accomplish it is with the Holy Spirit. We’re reminded that you have no idea what is running through someone’s head and you have no idea what circumstances brought them to where they are. Regardless, you are to treat others with kindness and leave the judgment to God – who knows the heart. Don’t condemn someone when you know nothing of their character.
