When you become a disciple of Jesus, you’re not left without any guidance. Today Pastor Johnny will help you understand that the Bible really is a gift. Have you ever found yourself in a broken place? In a place where your marriage is falling apart? In a place where your family is a complete mess? In a place where your job has become mundane and boring? Have you ever found yourself in a place of emptiness, where you feel lost and alone? Many teach that you must pray a certain way in order to be saved from sin. Others would say that you need to complete a list of tasks in order to be saved from sin. But the Bible teaches that Jesus is the way to salvation. It is by the deep of love God and His grace that you can be saved. Jesus. There has never been a sweeter name nor greater gift.

It’s easy to get lost in all the voices of the media world. But as you listen to today’s message with Pastor Johnny, you’ll be challenged to reevaluate the voices you’re listening to. Because who you listen to greatly impacts what you believe and how you live. If you’re listening to voices that speak things, not of God, chances are you’ll lead an ungodly life. Philippians 1:29 says, “For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him but also to suffer for him…” If you were to look at the lives of Jesus’ disciples, you would find great persecution. They were exiled, stoned, and even crucified…all because they believed in Jesus. Today Pastor Johnny will teach that you too should expect persecution. Now though persecution seems frightening, it isn’t forever. Weeping may last for the night, but Joy comes in the morning.

Whoever said following Jesus would be easy, didn’t really know what they were talking about. Jesus, Himself even said that if the world hated Him, the world would hate His followers too. Now don’t let this discourage you from walking with the Lord. Though it’s not easy, walking in His ways is rewarding. As Pastor Johnny teaches today, ask God to give you the endurance you need to step into the calling He has on your life. You’ll find that life with Jesus won’t be easy. But it will be full of love, grace, and truth.

In his letters to Timothy, Paul wrote, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” Today Pastor Johnny will encourage you in the same way Paul encouraged Timothy. Don’t let your age, social status, or giftings stop you from believing God can use you. Because He can. The Lord has incredible ways of using unexpected people to do His work. Just because you think you’re weak. doesn’t mean you are.

Everyone at one point or another thinks about the end of the world. Movies are even constantly being made about the variety of ways it could end. But if you read the Bible, you already know how it ends. However, as Pastor Johnny will share in today’s message, there are many who would have you believe otherwise. The Bible calls these people false teachers or wolves in sheep’s clothing. Always compare what you hear, watch and read to the Word of God. If it doesn’t align, don’t absorb it.

Did you know that thousands of years ago, Lucifer – also known as Satan – was an angel? In fact, he was one of the most beautiful angels ever created. So how did he fall so far to become the devil…the evil one? Pride. Pride led him to believe he could not only do better than God but that he could be better than God. As Pastor Johnny teaches from 2 Timothy in today’s message, you’ll learn that you also have a selfish nature. That pride is something you too must fight. Don’t let pride win.

Jesus was once a promise to come, and He came. Then He was the promised one to save, and He saved. Now He’s the promised one to come and restore all that is broken, and He will. For many, though, the promise of His return is frightening. But as you’ll learn from Pastor Johnny in today’s message, if you know the Lord, you have nothing to fear. If you are afraid, take a moment to look at your life. Does who you reflect Jesus? If not, maybe you’re afraid of His return because you do not know Him.

Out of all the things you may hear today, let these words be the ones you play repeatedly: “God loves you.” And no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, He will always love you. Today, Pastor Johnny teaches about the realness of Jesus and how His death was the ultimate “I love you” from God. If you think you’re not good enough for His love, you’re wrong. If you think you’re too far gone for His love, you’re wrong. If you think there is no way He could love you, you’re wrong. He loves you deeply.

Suffering seems like an unlikely way to salvation, but God’s ways are not the ways of the world. As you listen to today’s message with Pastor Johnny open your heart to learning something new. You see, Jesus didn’t come to save your marriage; He came to save you. He didn’t come that you might have a job change, He came that you might have a heart change. Sometimes the ways of the Lord seem wild, but they are real and change the world. Ask God to show you His ways and He will.

The constant changes in the world can make life feel unsteady. What will tomorrow bring? But as you’ll learn from Pastor Johnny in today’s message, there is a place where you can find certainty. There is someone in whom you can put complete trust. There is a Creator who is constant and never changes. In Jesus, you can find not only hope but home. He is where your help should come from. As the world around you proves over and over that it’s not steady, put your faith in the One who is.

It’s hard to imagine Jesus as a baby boy, learning to walk and talk. It’s hard to imagine him, a carpenter’s son, learning to create and build. It’s hard to imagine Jesus sometimes. He was human just like us but perfect in every way. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny reflects on the life of Jesus and how His very life gives us life everlasting. Jesus became the way, the truth, and the life. His death forgives all that is imperfect in you. Now that’s not something you have to imagine. That’s real and that’s grace.

Did you know that going to church won’t save you? Did you know that your big list of good works won’t save you? Did you know your parents’ relationship with God won’t save you? It’s easy to believe that all those things will because the world teaches that. But Jesus teaches something different. As you listen to today’s message with Pastor Johnny, reflect on your relationship with Jesus. Is it dependent on something or someone else or is it personal…like a bride with her groom?

Imagine having prayed for a child for years, finally conceiving, and then having the Lord ask you to sacrifice that child. Abraham lived that out. Both he and Sarah prayed for years and finally a sweet baby boy was born. Isaac was his name. And as much as Abraham loved Isaac, He loved the Lord. So, he trusted in God and prepared to sacrifice his son. He knew the Lord would be faithful, but not how. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will encourage to trust in the Lord, just as Abraham did.

Noah was a man of great faith; a man who loved his family and loved the Lord. Though he lived in a land where there was no rain, when God said there would be a great flood, Noah listened. Noah trusted in the Word of God. The rains did come, and it was by God’s grace that Noah and his family were saved. Today Pastor Johnny will talk about the grace of God. God’s grace is a thing of love. It’s something that cannot be earned. It’s a gift. And over and over again, God offers that gift to you. What grace!

Can you imagine living during the time of Adam and Eve? Can you picture that beauty of what once was? Perfect peace. Great love. No pain. Fast forward to today and it’s hard to imagine that that is what the world once looked like. Today Pastor Johnny teaches about the world that is to come. Although talking about the ‘end times’ may seem frightening, if you know God, you have nothing to worry about. If you know God, you know His plan is to restore perfect peace…just as it was in the beginning.

Although it may be hard to comprehend at times, the Bible is such an important part of understanding the heart of God. Its pages hold history, and they hold true. They tell of what was and they tell of what is to come. So, when you’re wrestling to understand what is real, lean on His Word and trust in His truth.
